Unless the edges you're trying to protect are the correct thickness (about 1.5 inches, maybe closer to 2 inches), these cushions won't work for you. Also, to stay in place you have to use the adhesive strips -- and I cannot see using those on nice-looking furniture with polished surfaces. We returned ours immediately.

I bought these corner edge protectors to put on my coffee table since my 1 year old is in the living room playing all the time. Even though our table ledge is rounded (but still has pointed corners), these protectors adhered securely. I didn't think they were going to but once I put them into place, they stayed. My daughter has been grabbing them and playing near them and they don't come off. They come with several pieces of strong double-sided tape.

The only down side is I am not sure how easy they will be to remove when the time comes. I'm not sure if they will leave a mark, but the flip side is that my child cannot rip them off of the table which is important to me.

They're very padded so I am not too worried about my daughter being hurt on the corner of the table anymore. Good buy!

These are awesome and the glue is very adhesive. I've gone through so many brands and styles. This one is the one for us! My 2 1/2 year old attempted to pull it off once. When he wasn't successful, he never tried again. They are nice and large and protect his little head from hitting the corner of the dresser. I love them!

I have a large oversized desk at work & I often have my 18mo daughter with me there...a few months ago she started hitting her head on the corners of my desk. (I have to admit, they stick out and are a perfect height to leave bruises on my hips too) Twice she even got a small cut on her head from them. I almost bought a different brand of corner covers bc they were brown & would match better, but the reviews said that the dble stick tape wasn't sticky enough to keep them in place...so I purchased these. They work perfectly and havent come off despite my child pulling on them. She now thinks its funny to bump her head into the covers and say "bonk" - but no more boo boo's here. And no more hip bruises for mommy either :)

The double-sided tape is thin and my kids just pull the corners off since the adhesive is not that strong. Wish they could come up with a better system for adhering them to the furniture without the damaging adhesive on the wood. They do protect against head bumps and give me peace of mind!

I got so tired of the children bumping their heads on the kitchen bar, so I had to buy these. They are soft and comes with little double-sided sticky tapes so it easy to stick up. They seem durable, we shall see. Looks a lot better than the ones I had made out of toilet tissue. I know, tacky huh? I think it was a good idea to buy a few in case my little ones decide to rip them off. Moms, I think you should try these; Not a bad price and quick delivery too.

Purchased more to protect my knees from middle of the night collisions than to protect a baby -- but works great for me!

Wall cabinet in teacher's room originally had styrofoam taped on the corners. The Safety First Cushions were a 100% improvement both in appearance and function. Easily applied, clean looking. YES, I recommend this product

This is a real life saver for me I have a 2 year old that is very active and always running and have a dresser close to the bedroom door, the dresser have a corner that protrude about forehead height for my daughter I put one of the corners there and I can say my daughter bumped her head into it countless times while trying to run through the door and not looking and have not gotten injured, sometimes she would hit into it and just keep going as if nothing happened.

I thought these would be unobtrusive corner covers, but they are super ugly. I recommend them if you don't have very dark wood furniture.
