I have read a few bad reviews for these plug covers, but these work great. My son is one year old and they keep him away. Heck they keep me away. I don't look forward to using any outlet that these are in. They are hard for me to get out. I have to find something to wedge in it to pry it out of the outlet. So simply put these work fine. Maybe an older child would be able to get these out, but I can't so I am not worried.
