Won't fit all tubs, be sure to measure yours!,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Safety 1st Tubside Bath Seat (Baby Product)
I really wanted this seat to work - the others use suction cups to adhere the seat to the bottom of the tub, unfortunately, our bath tub has a textured floor and suction cups do not stick. I was pleased when I first took this out of the box. It came already assembled and ready to go, and seemed very sturdy and just what I was looking for.
It was very easy to install, but once in, I noticed that the red "warning" label was very visible at the bottom of the extension arm, near the seat. Referencing the instructions, this label should NOT be visible, and if it is, you are not to use the seat. I guess if the extension is all the way out (the seat too low in the tub) it must create some stability issues. A closer look at the instructions revealed what SHOULD be posted on the product listing, but ISN'T: DO NOT USE on the following style tubs: - The tub edge width is less than 3.5" (8.9 cm) or greater than 5.5" (14 cm) - The inside depth (top to bottom) is less than 12" (30.5 cm) or greater than 15.5" (39.37 cm) - Free standing (legged or pedestal), Oval, or Drop-In - Spa Type A quick measure of our tub told me that this was the reason it wouldn't fit correctly. Our tub is 18" deep. I really wish Amazon / Safety 1st could have posted this on the product page, it would have saved the trouble of sending it back, as I now must do.

Twins in the Tub!!,
By
This review is from: Safety 1st Tubside Bath Seat (Baby Product)
My nine month old twin grandsons, Cayden and Dylan, are two slippery handfuls in the tub. These seats by Safety First makes bathing them both at the same time possible and enjoyable. We tried seats which stuck to the bottom of the tub (with suction cups) first, but when these active little boys leaned over, the seats came un-stuck, dumping the babies into the drink. My daughter is happy to have this helpful aid, and the boys are thrilled to be together at bath time again.

These reviews are crazy!,

This review is from: Safety 1st Tubside Bath Seat (Baby Product)
This bathseat does its purpose, supports baby in the tub with CONSTANT parental supervision in SHALLOW water which is recommended for any child.
I cannot believe the ratings and the reasonings for the ratings on this product! Giving it a 1 or a 2 because the product doesn't fit in your tub? The product is the one that is consistant in size, it is your bathtub that doesn't fit the product! Low rating because after months and months of GOOD use, your child randomly poops in the tub and you can't get the bath seat clean enough? List the lack of ability to come apart as a con, but to tank the whole rating because your child made a mess in the tub? And a low rating because of the people out there who fill their bathtubs too high and may leave their child UNATTENDED for a moment? Common sense, your not supposed to do that! I looked over this product for a month because of its low rating, come to realize that most of the bad ratings don't rate the functionality of the product at all, just "user errors". I had to weed threw them all to find genuine product reviews. Does your baby enjoy his or her bath in this seat? Is the seat easy to store away? Is your baby safe in the seat, in the recommended shallow water and an adult ALWAYS near by? Any improvements that can be made on this seat? Does it break easily? Anything happen at all during typical use that could make this seat unsafe? These are the most important questions that should be answered when it comes to any baby/child product.
