The Safety 1st car seat onboard 35 has two different bases that will fit, and both are pictured here. I just called the Dorel Group, makers of Safety 1st, and they said that one has two adjustments and one has three. The one with three adjustments is obviously more expensive, and is the picture used to sell this product, but it is not the unit you will get. If you look under the big picture used in the advertisements at the two smaller pictures you will notice that they are two completely different units. The unit I received was the cheaper version not seen in the big picture ad, but the one with the lower front. I'm returning it in the hopes of getting the one pictured, but after going to Target's website I see that there is really no option to buy that one from them. Someone should pay more attention to the pictures that they are showing.

Needed an additional car base for my new Safety 1st Aerolite Deluxe travel system and this works perfectly.

The description stated that this base has the latch system and it is adjustable to 3 positions. The one we received is the other smaller base with only 2 positions. Had to get ours from diapers.com.

Works well with the 35 Air Onboard infant car seat. Had the installation checked by the state trooper office for proper installation. Car Seat pops in and out of the base with ease.

It is a great and safe care seat. However beware that IT DOES NOT FIT many strollers. I wanted the Uppababy Cruz stroller which only fits Chicco, Graco, and Maxi Cosi. If you are okay not having it fit stollers such as Sola, BOB, or Uppa Baby then it does seem great. I returned mine and purchased a Chicco instead.

We have the Safety 1st OnBoard 35 seat and we wanted an extra base for my husbands car. If you are looking online make sure you know which one you are ordering. There is a 'Deluxe' and 'Premium' base. You can tell the difference by the sides. The Premium one has the more solid looking sides with the grey circle on the side. On Amazon they show both bases on the listings so it can get confusing. The biggest thing to know about the two is the latch buckles are different. The premium version has the quick release latches which are SUPER easy to use and the other base has the more basic clips. After playing around with both of them at the store, it is worth paying a little extra to get the nicer easier latches. But do your research before you buy!! Some sites sell it for around $80... but I got ours from Target for about $50 with free shipping.

The ease at which this product is both installed and makes inserting and removing a car seat makes it a well worth it investment.

I love the newer version of this base! It has the ability to "lock" the seatbelt strap, which my first base doesn't have. It makes it (seem) more secure than the older model. This is a great base, and the car seat is wonderful as well! We purchased a second base for my husband's car, so much easier than transferring the base between vehicles. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

I bought this to go with my Eddie Bauer Trailmaker Travel System. This travel system does not come with any extra bases for the infant car seat nor does Eddie Bauer make or sell any extra bases to fit it. It is completely stupid, but they don't. I found this Safety 1st Base and it fits the Eddie Bauer infant seat perfectly! Buy this if you are looking for an extra base for your Eddie Bauer Trailmaker set. I bought two...one for my husband's car and one for grandma who watches my son a lot.

The sides are a little higher than the one the seat comes with so its a little harder to get out, but i do like the quick release strap.
