I have only used this one time, but it seems to work great. I have gone through two work tunes headsets over the last few years, but they have not held up. The first one quit altogether, and the right earphone quit on the second one. I also had trouble keeping stations tuned in on thoses. On this Safety Works headset, the stations are digital, and they locked in perfect. This unit also has a memory setting for ten stations. There was no fade out on the stations when I wore it while mowing my yard for three hours. If this keeps performing as it did the first time, I would highly recommend it. I cannot predict the future however. I can only hope.

Not meant for AM stations in US. Tunes to European 9 mHz step medium wave frequencies. Fm tuner works ok in US.

Received this as a Christmas gift and was really looking forward to using them while working in my wood workshop. A good design, but how ridiculous is it that it scans and stops on only every 9 khz on the AM band and every 4 mhz on FM. I don't think this tuner is meant for use in the USA. They are comfortable but, really do not buy this if you live in the USA and want to use the tuner. It does have a MP3 player jack, which I would never use.

Having had another brand of similar headset (3M Tekk), I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of these. Maybe none of this style headsets have great sound, but I like the sound of these better. It has a little better tone balance, and less bass than the 3M's. Those had a muffled, dead sort of bass, not vibrant and rich. These sound a little more clear to me.

The tuning works fine (I don't use the AM), and reception is good, at least where I use it. The antenna is a bit floppy, so I bend it into a loop and hook it under the band holder thing. It still receives well.

I can't speak to longevity since I haven't had them very long, but if they last awhile and I"m in the market for this sort of thing again, I'd definitely buy this one again.

I can pick up stations anywhere with no static. Drowns out all the noise. MP3 player can be plugged in. For the money, this is a very good head set.

As farmers, we go through a lot ear protection ear muffs. Radio cuffs usually have a weak signal. This have a strong radio signal (compared to others) Love the iPod plugin. Does the job as well as can be expected (compared to others), sometimes I have to still put earplugs and earmuffs under extreme conditions.

Radio worked very well, and I liked the light weight. The sound deadening quality was also top-notch. Unfortunately, two weeks after it arrived, the iPod jack failed to be reliable. The connection gradually disappeared. This was unacceptable, and I returned it. If I could be certain that this would not happen again, I might purchase another, as accept for the problem with the jack, it was superior to the one I ended up with.

I had another brand before this one. I really enjoy the safety works because it has better operating features for everyday use.

What a waste! I should have paid more attention to the reviews indicating the tuner on the AM radio was not set to USA stations.
