Product Description

From the Manufacturer

From the distributor: "Like no other game before, "Safranito" is a combination of dexterity and tactics, providing the game with a new, superb playing experience. At an Indian spice booth, the players bargain for precious ingredients they need for their exquisite meals. Each player throws their Indian coins face-down onto the bowls depicted on the game board. The players may bluff and push the opponents' coins aside. A clever player is able to toss his coins onto the game board in a way that allows him to both sell his spices at a high price and purchase cheap spices. The players try to acquire the right spices as quickly as possible. As soon as somebody has cooked three meals with them, he wins.

I am a semi serious gamer who likes The depth and strategy of the euro games... but I often lack people to play them with me. So far, everyone of my non-gamer friends have loved Safranito...

This game employs a surprisingly refreshing dexterity element in the play, as you toss chips into particular spice bowls (printed on the board) and makes for a lighthearted yet surprisingly competitive - and even sometimes a little tense - board game.

The quality and artwork is impressive and there is even a bit of strategy involved to satiate those who prefer games with a bit of substance. I even take this game camping, and have been chided by the grounds keepers at quiet time as things get a little raucous. Trust me, when the spice card you've been waiting for finally comes into play - and someone knocks your chip out of the bowl, it's hard to maintain composure.

This game is as fun as any I've played - and has a high replay value... if you can find it, snatch it up!
