Am a huge Yankee Candle fan but the large pillars can be pricey & the votives don't last very long. This is a wonderful compromise and much more effective than the diffuser sticks. I placed 15-16 drops of oil in the top, lit the tea light (included)and within ten minutes my entire apartment smelled great. The oil bottle has some sort of little valve in the top so if you invert the bottle completely the drops come out just one at a time. Prevents spilling but a tiny bit tedious if you're the impatient type. I've had it "on" roughly seven hours so far and really haven't used much of the original drops.
