Now you'll be able to generate high Fly Line speed and feel the rod load more precisely for improved power transfer and efficiency. In fishing situations, that means you will instinctively cast better without having to think about it. Sage has said it before and they say it again with more emphasis: These are simply great fly rods. Flight Series rod/reel combos are available Fly Line weights 4-6, 8 and 9 as part of a complete, perfectly balanced outfit, including a Sage 1800 Series reel, RIO floating Fly Line, backing and leader, plus a protective rod/reel case.
