An inept ex-Navy officer, Gilbert Barrows (Robert Wagner), and his fiancee, Elinor (Dolores Hart), stumble in on "Captain" Bugsy F. Foglemeyer's (Ernie Kovacs) ambitious scheme to rob a Boston bank, using a kidnapped Liberty ship which Foglemeyer plans to sail from New York. Triumphing over dozens of near-disasters, Gilbert pilots the ship to Boston. Unable to halt the bank robbery itself, Gilbert finally manages to attract Coast Guard attention by using one of Elinor's more elastic undergarments as a slingshot. When Bugsy and his mob are subdued, Elinor decides the time has come for her to use on Gilbert some of Virginia's helpful lessons in the art of manhandling.

This is a great classic chase comedy starring Robert Wagner and the reknowned Ernie Kovacs.It's a must see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a movie for all Ernie Kovacs fans. He plays his typical 'in charge'
charactor who is totally wrong in his decision making.
It's hilarious to watch with a young Robert Wagner in a leading role
as well. I've been trying to find this movie for a long time
and was glad to see Amazon has it.
