5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended!
This manga is especially nice for North American Sailor Moon fans because you can kind of compare story lines with the Sailor Moon R season from T.V. In this manga, Wicked Lady appears and Sailor Moon and the rest of the Sailor Senshi battle the Wiseman in the 30th Century Crystal Tokyo. Even if you have seen the episodes, there are a lot of plot differences that...

3.0 out of 5 stars BIG Cliffhanger
Well, this book explains is great, but, it has a HUGE cliffhanger ending! I actually have only recently started to read Sailor Moon manga, so I haven't read the one before this, which might decline my rating.

Ultimate Moonie (Crystal Tokyo (I wish...*sigh*)) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sailor Moon 6 (Paperback)
Sailormoon in 1000 words or less? Okay. Bishojo Senshi Sailormoon is the peak of manga released in the United States, and as more become available to the public, the greater the fanbase. Bishojo Senshi Sailormoon, or commonly shortend to Sailormoon, is about a middle school flunkee (Have you seen her grades? It's amazing she makes it in Highschool) who stumbles on a Crescent-moon-bald-spot having cat from Mau named Luna, royal advisor of the lost Silver millenium, but more on that later, who gives Usagi, (or Bunny) a brooch in which she can transform into Sailormoon, the Pretty Soldier of Love and Justice. In the First Manga comic, through her magic goggles, Usagi/Bunny sees her friend Naru/Molly in danger, and arrives quickly on the scene. With her supersonic tears, her tiara, and the mysterious Tuxedo Kamen/Mask, she defeats her first enemy.

In the next few, she meets fellow senshi/soldiers Ami/Amy Sailormercury, Rei/Raye Sailormars, Makoto/Lita Sailorjupiter, and finally the mysterious Sailor V (another manga series was dedicated to her) Minako/Mina, Sailorvenus, the self proclaimed Princess Serenity.

Then with Tuxedo Kamen/Mask, who is discovered is Prince Endymion of Earth, Usagi/Bunny discovers that SHE is the Real Moon Princess. Now it is up to her to destroy the evil Metallia, and she must also destroy *gasp* her true love, the now evil Endymion.

Now that peace spreads across the land, a mysterious pink haired rabbit named Usagi/Bunny arrives, using toy guns filled with roses to retrive the Silver Illusion Crystal. Nicknamed Chibi-Usa/Rini, a new villian arrives to capture both Chibi-Usa/Rini and the Silver Illusion Crystal. As the four sisters, Coonan/Catsy, Berachu/Birtie, Petz/Prisma, and Calaveras/Avery, die off, the senshi Rei/Raye, Ami/Amy, and Makoto/Lita are abducted. In this issue, Chibi-Usa/Rini reveals her true identity, and that mysterious Sailor Senshi who uttered the words Abracadabra Poof is revealed, Moon can no longer use her powers, and she believes that her Mamo-chan/Darien is leaving her... for the 9 year old girl, and the pink haired rabbit is in a school-girl crush with... her DAD? Then all the black moon family but Demando/Diamond and Wiseman die, and Black/Wicked Lady is born, and once again, Mamo-chan/Darien heads into the dark side... Bwahahaha! (Mamo-chan! NOOOOO! *grabs tissues*) The art is A+++ The story is 7 stars. And it is even recomended to those who can't read, but can enjoy the images. For Laughs, cries, and fun, enjoy BSSM today! You sure can't get the read me a 1000 times feel from Poke'mon...

5.0 out of 5 stars Totaly different from the TV series, March 27, 2000
By
This review is from: Sailor Moon 6 (Paperback)
This book, along with the other manga compalations, are a completely different story almost, from the TV series. I am not just talking about the American TV series, but the Japanese version too. For instance the final battle is in the future, Sailor Pluto is a much more important character, and we meet Luna and Artimus' kitten Diana here instead of in Sailor Moon Super S like in the TV series. This is a fantastic book and I recomend the whole series to anyone who is interested in manga, not just Sailor Moon fans. 4.0 out of 5 stars A good book, March 4, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Sailor Moon 6 (Paperback)
This was a good book... much better than such books as A scout was born or mercury rising! The translations were pretty acurate with the original manga and of course the pictures were beautiful. Much different than the anime! The story plot is also a little different too! I was a little doubtful about this book because I thought it might be americanized but it's not bad. They actually kept the name of the sailor senshi's powers same as the original and they kept (later volumes) the outer senshi's Japanese name, which I applaud! What bothered me however is, why not keep the other names too. Like Bunny - Usagi, Raye - Rei, Amy - Ami, lita - Makoto, mina - Minako, darien - mamoru, etc. All in all it was pretty good! Espeshilly for me because I'm picky about these things!

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a great manga!, May 8, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Sailor Moon 6 (Paperback)
Okay, Sailor Moon is perhaps my all time favorite anime, and after i read the manga, I loved it even more. Anyway, this particular volumn was great. Pluto is one of my favorite senshi. Well, Mixx's translations aren't perfect, but then translating never is. I won't spoil anything for you, but you can't get this one without having at least #5. Actually, to fully understand each manga you need to buy them all from #1. You can still enjoy them without but it's a lot harder. Overall this was my second favorite one (1st being SuperS 3). I can't wait for number 7 not only because i want to see what happens, but it starts the Infinity series! Yay! I finally get to see Uranus' debut in the manga series :-)

4.0 out of 5 stars Birth of the Black Lady {Wicked Lady} !!, July 11, 2003
This review is from: Sailor Moon 6 (Paperback)
The cool thing about this comic series is it two things:
1. Extra stuff to go along with Sailor Moon and Naoko Takechi.
2. Includes extra plots and stories like the "Final Exam Battles".
In the first chapter:
Diamond kidnaps Sailor Moon.
Rini finds Wiseman, and because of that, Tuxedo Mask goes to look for her.
In the second chapter:
The scouts go back to the 20th century, then go back to the 30th century.
In the last chapter:
Rini makes her appearence to the scouts as Black{wicked} Lady, and Tuxedo Mask becomes evil.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sailor Scouts on Nemises, July 4, 2001
By
This review is from: Sailor Moon 6 (Paperback)
Al;l the scouts are in trouble including Sailor moon being traped not only in Nemises but in the same room in the same castle as Prince Diamond. The sailor scouts have to stop the People of the dark crystal form getting the two silver emperium crystals or else doom will come amoung all of them. This book really rocked and I think that you'll enjoy this book as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Power of the Ginzuishou!, April 3, 2000
This review is from: Sailor Moon 6 (Paperback)
Volume six reveals more the power of the Silver Crystal kept by those of the Silver Millenium as the series rises to new heights of suspense and, of course, romance. Gorgeous drawings will leave you staring for hours and the book will leave you hanging on a thread for the next volume. Can you live with the suspense! I'm trying!

4.0 out of 5 stars Although it's not as good as 1-4...., June 22, 2000
This review is from: Sailor Moon 6 (Paperback)
I am a major fan of Sailor Moon and I have to say I was a little disappointed in this one. Not that it wasn't good or anything, but it was kind of boring at parts. I was waiting the whole time I was reading for something exciting to happen, and not much did in this book. So, I guess I'll just have to wait for the next one to come out, even though the publishing date keeps changing.....
