4.0 out of 5 stars New Moonie Material
This book is perfect for someone who's a little younger or is a "New Moonie", meaning they don't already know too much about Sailor Moon as it is. Not recommended for the hard core fans, unless they just want to collect every bit of SM stuff they can get their hands on.

3.0 out of 5 stars Keep track of rainbow crystal bearers with this book.
Can never remember exactly what Game Machine Joe's transformed evil self looked like? Well, look no further than "Sailor Moon: Friends and Foes." Not only does it show each rainbow crystal bearer's transformed self, but it lists each "scout's" favorite animal and attack phrase as well. This isn't a book for a research paper on Sailor Moon (unless...

This isn't a book for a research paper on Sailor Moon (unless you are cataloging all the differences between the original and Dic's version,) but it does give you some basic information. The artwork is bright and eye-catching and I was happy to see a picture of Queen Serenity (the character who best keeps the graceful beauty of Takeuchi sensei's original artwork) and a nice shot of the Moon Kingdom.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Reference Guide For the Younger Fan, September 19, 2000
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Sailor Moon, Friends and Foes (Hardcover)
This is a great book for young artists and fans. This thin hardcover is an informative picture book, really, to help you get to know the characters on the show. There's some great info and illustrations, though keep in mind it's made for the young DIC version Sailor Moon fan. Also, look for the other hardcover, "Meet Sailor Moon." Great books for fans, though for a real informative and picture loaded book for the older fans, check out the five paper back scout guides, "Meet Sailor Moon(different from the other described)", "Meet Sailor Mars," "Meet Sailor Venus," "Meet Sailor Mercury," and "Meet Sailor Jupiter."

1.0 out of 5 stars 50 cents a page, January 18, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Sailor Moon, Friends and Foes (Hardcover)
Well if you read the title.. it's true. 50 cents for each page in this book. I saw the cover online and bought it hoping it had info on the generals. Their info? This is Jedite, he stole energy.... UGG!! two senteces each! also since it is anime based, it thinks Zoicite is a girl NOT!! it also says that the generals were Endymion's friends, NO! They were his protectors, like the senshi and the Princess of the moon. This book is meant for a kid who is bound to tear out the pages anyway. I recogmend it, if at all, for ages 2-3.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sailor Moon:Friends and Foes has excellent art., January 26, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Sailor Moon, Friends and Foes (Hardcover)
Though many of the imformation in this book will already be known to many of Sailor Moon's fans the artwork is fabulous and is hard to find any where else. The facts that it gives are probably not known to fans who have not read the Manga. It also shows the names of all of the seven shadows. There is no known place to find that imformation. Though I wish this book was longer I found it very enjoyable and will look at this book whenever I miss Sailor Moon being on the air.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sailor Moon Friends and Foes book, March 24, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Sailor Moon, Friends and Foes (Hardcover)
I bought this book a couple years ago. It really told me alot about the first series. I recomend this book to fans who doesn't know much about her. Right now, as I think of it, I gave this book 4 stars, not 5 because I like the novels better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!, May 21, 1998

This review is from: Sailor Moon, Friends and Foes (Hardcover)
Great colored pictures. Even though it's a small book, kids would always read it over again looking at the friends and villians and even draw them on a sheet of paper.

5.0 out of 5 stars just a little info from everybodys friend Zoi, September 1, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Sailor Moon, Friends and Foes (Hardcover)
This book somehow failed to mention that I am a MAN! Also, we like to call the "Negaverse" the "Dark Kingdom," as in the original manga by Takeuchi Naoko. Other than that, nice pictures of me and my friend Kunzite/Malachite. Reccomended for the younger fan, or anyone who doesn't know a thing about the best aspect of Sailor Moon-- ME (I mean, me and the other three generals...) --Zoisite (PS Jadeite says "melt me" and Nephrite says "hi" to Naru-chan/Molly.) Have a nice day ;)
