4.0 out of 5 stars An OK mix, Blumchen redeams this CD
Well, I bough this CD because of the title, and I was mildly supprised. There are all sorts of music on this CD. They are "Sailor Moon" related, but not really from Sailor Moon. 1.0 out of 5 stars This is Sailor Moon music?
I don't really understand this series of import CDs. They boast Sailor Moon on the cover, but inside is a strange collection of American and German songs ranging from pop to rap. Most of it sounds too childish or too Teen bop MTV style... And why the heck is Aaron Carter on here? Last time I checked, the REAL Sailor Moon didn't have anything like that.

Well, I bough this CD because of the title, and I was mildly supprised. There are all sorts of music on this CD. They are "Sailor Moon" related, but not really from Sailor Moon. The one I like the least is called Love is Forever because it's done in an opartic/rap style which you have to (like coffee) get an aquired taste. The redeming song of this one is called Gibt Mir Noch Zeit, by Blumchen, and was a chart topper over in Germany. The kairoke version of the German theme is the last song. This CD somes with a fan book/poster, but keep in mind, unless you can read German, this poster won't make much sense. Only three to four songs are compeletely in German, supprisingly, and I think that this CD would make a nice addition to any Sailor Moon fan's CD library.

5.0 out of 5 stars very cool, July 6, 2000

Well, as most of you know this CD is German, However, only 4 songs are actually in German. First 5 and last 2 songs are from SMoon, the rest are different German hits. In this cd, unlike the other German SMoon Compilation, they sing the theme song in English. None of the songs repeat from the other German CD. Many people like the Tamagotchi song, but beware some of you might think it's too childish. The coolest thing about CD is that it includes a poster with Serena(Usagi)looking in the mirror at her brooch (the scene from the first episode). CD is worth getting - I loved all of the SMoon Songs! They are really cool (and in English)!

4.0 out of 5 stars What other reviewers don't understand., August 4, 2005
By
This review is from: Sailor Moon In Love (Anime Compilation) (Audio CD)
Other reviewers of this product don't seem to understand what it actually is, and what it is not. It is NOT a Japanese disk with the original Japanese music from SailorMoon. It IS, however, a German disk with GERMAN Sailor Moon music. This is music that showed up in the german dub of the show, and other selections that the publisher felt went along with the theme. [Kind of like tracks on a disk that are listed as "inspired by [title of show here]".] I personally enjoy the German music for Sailormoon. You couldn't get much further from the original Japanese themes if you tried, but it's still quite enjoyable in its own right.

So, in short, do not purchase this if you're looking for the original Japanese music. DO purchase this if you enjoy the german dub of Sailor Moon, or are collecting Sailor Moon items from around the world [this is a great piece to fill out such a collection].

My big mistake was getting this CD because it had Sailor Moon on the cover. Now I hide it so it won't detract from the glory of my Japanese Sailor Moon CDs. (Ya know, the REAL songs for the ORIGINAL version of the show) If you want Sailor Moon music, then get the Sailor Stars Best Collection or the Memorial Song box. All the songs are in Japanese, but the quality and originality is unbeatable. This CD is not anime music. Just strange...

4.0 out of 5 stars A very strange, but enjoyable SM album., October 9, 1998

This is an album that was marketed more towards the ages 8 to 13, but since that applies to just about all anime fans of all ages, it's not a problem. It's a german import. Half of the album is in english, the other half in german. My favorite track is a tribute to the Tamagotchi. It's a fun little disc that should appeal to any SM fan.

This cd and the others sailor moon german cds have beautiful melodies and are teen pop style. Very cute music, just for children or serious sailor moon collector like me!

4.0 out of 5 stars sailormoon In love cd.. a good choice., August 30, 2001
By
This review is from: Sailor Moon In Love (Anime Compilation) (Audio CD)
I am an avid fan of the original Japanese Sailormoon. The North American version's music is just as good (I wish the'd release all background music which in some cases is better than the original version..) Ok back to this cd. The other "German" sailormoon cd
compilation was ok...well until I heard "actual" realworld songs, it pops the "fantasy" bubble. However "sailormoon in love" ROCKS!!! Sure some of the tracks have leanings to techno, sure it may not fit it some places in the "romance and dreamy" theme that the sailormoon series is well known for, but there are some tracks that just make this CD special. In particular "wonderland of dreams'" which
is the end music to the german SM.It is a great addition to any SM music..

5.0 out of 5 stars THIS CD RULES!, February 1, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Sailor Moon In Love (Anime Compilation) (Audio CD)
I really loved this CD because I love Sailor Moon. She is so cool and anything with her name on it rocks. This isn't the best of the Moon CD'S but it's up there. I gave it 5 stars because it is really good. The Tamogotchi song rocks. I heard it in Gadzooks once and then I fell in love with it on the album. I had no idea it was on this CD but it only made it more enjoyable than before! A must have for Moon Fans! :)Sailor Mars, (formally Zoe Millano)
