MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK ARE. . .,
By Glamour Girl (Ohio, U.S.A) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sailor Moon: Mars Attacks (Sailor Moon the novel #4) (Paperback)
This book was a fun and exciting book to read! I thought it was cool! Like in all the other books there is a little romance, a little action, and a little drama! There is also some comedy! I would also like to say that this book is not in the form of a comic book form, like the new Sailor Moon series that is out! It is a chapter book, which is good for "younger" children's book reports. What I'm trying to say is if you like the comics only, this book is probably not for you. Unfortunately, it is a bit americanized, but it doesn't ruin the book. Overall, I think you should really consider buying this book if you're a SAILOR MOON fan! I hope I helped you make a decision toward buying this book. Happy reading!

*thump*,
By Samantha Carlson (San Antonio, Texas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sailor Moon: Mars Attacks (Sailor Moon the novel #4) (Paperback)
Words cannot begin to describe this latest installment of the Americanized Sailor Moon novels series. Here's a handy metaphor: If this book was a pool and I jumped into it, I would hit my head because it's so shallow. First off, while Sailor Moon's attacks are the original Japanese ones, the other "scouts'" are from the DiC dub. It often gets confusing. Not to mention that Serena's last name happens to be Tsukino in these. They couldn't think of a perfectly good English name for her? Also, Ms. Sentar's (the author) work abounds with grammar mistakes and endorsements for products (mostly designer clothes. how could they afford that?). There are even several mentions of Serena's love for "Gundam Wing" and wouldn't you know it? It just happened to be airing on Cartoon Network around the time this book was released. Coincidence? I think not. Her writing lacks any depth whatsoever and I can't believe Mixx would hire a third rate (and I do mean THIRD RATE) fanfiction writer for their books. Her last fan fiction was entitled "The Wacky Adventures of Psycho Setsuna" which was at least 100 times better than this drivel. I suggest not wasting your money on this (unless you want to be amused and disgusted at the same time) and simply go read "Psycho Setsuna".

The red planet girl arrives.,
By Gwenn Cosmis "cardcaptor moon" (the planet cosmos) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sailor Moon: Mars Attacks (Sailor Moon the novel #4) (Paperback)
The last episode in this book{I saw it} and oh my god, was it terrible. I think the fact that the author makes the scouts more like us is cool. And she also puts in the funny parts, and doesn't make it boring like in the anime. I own both all the manga and all of the novels, and I like both.In this, the enemy keeps invading by crusies, love charms, and fun parks. I guess Serena isn't happy about that. But fortunately, we meet the bossy Raye Hino who turns out to be Sailor Mars. A great book worth reading.
