This CD is gorgeous and wonderful. There might not exist such CD that includes so many songs in one, except for this and those in "SM Memorial Song Box" (not yet imported by Amazon, maybe now sold in Japan, consisted of 6 disks), regarding the Japanese SM songs.

Among 15 songs, 1 to 10 are opening and ending themes to all the 5 seasons of TV version SM. This part is just the same as that of the main part of 1st disk in the "Memorial Song Box", and covers all the openings and endings. 1) "Moonlight Densetsu" by Dali is opening theme through 2 seasons of SM and SMR. Succeeding to Dali's, 5) "Moonlight Densetsu" by Moon Lips is also opening to both SMS and SM SuperS. And 9) "Sailor Star Song" by Hanazawa Kae is opening to 5th season, Sailor Stars. (This season episodes are not yet broadcast in NA).

The rest 7 songs of 10 are ending songs to 5 seasons. 2) "Heart Moving" and 3) "Princess Moon" by Hashimoto Ushio/Apple Pie are 1st and 2nd endings to SM. 4) "Otome No Policy" is to SMR. 6) "Tuxedo Mirage" is to SMS. 7) "Watashi-tachi ni Naritakute" and 8) "-Rashiku- Ikimasho" by Meu are 1st and 2nd endings to SM SuperS. And lastly, 10) "Kaze mo Sora mo Kitto" is beautiful and consolable ending theme to 5th season, Sailor Srars.

What wonderful and gorgeous is that this CD also includes 3 representative songs from the 3 movie version SM stories, now sold as VHS Videos in NA (but please note that this is the conditions in the original Japanese anime movies. Video movies in NA use the other songs, which are composed and written in the US. So in the following American Videos, whose names are shown in parentheses, these songs are not appeared). Namely, 13) "Moon Revenge" sung by five inner scouts is main and ending theme to SMR movie ("The Promise of the Rose"). 14) "Moonlight Destiny" by Asakawa Hiroko is main theme to SMS movie ("Hearts in Ice"). And 15) "Morning Moon De Aimashou (Meet with under the Morning Moon)" by Pretty Cast is ending theme to SM SuperS movie ("Black Dream Hole"). ---- Songs 11) and 12) are those of Sailor Stars, sung by Three Lights.

If you do not mind all the songs are sung in Japanese, and may enjoy the sounds of Japanese, this CD is really, highly recommended.

In addition, I should say that Japanese language has tonal/pitch accent, not stress accent like English, so that tonal patterns of song music are correspondent to those of lyrics, and this creates the proper beauty and impression effects on the songs. Every language expresses its sound beauty in its songs. So does Japanese. And I think the tonal beauties of Japanese lyrics may be fully manifested particularly in these songs.

The songs are very melodious, romantic, and sometimes dramatic. If you see and understand what Japanese lyrics mean, you may more enjoy and feel that these songs are beautiful and impressive. I especially love "Moonlight Densetsu" by Dali, and Opening and Ending themes to Stars, i.e. "Sailor Star Song" and "Kaze mo Sora mo Kitto". These are sparkling songs, I think. The wings, stars, wind, sky, sorrows, joys, Love and Eternity (tsubasa, hoshi-boshi, kaze, sora, kanashimi, yorokobi, Ai soshite Eien)....../*/ Japanese words by raya_starwing /*/.

If the songs to the Sailor moon series get you excited or make you want to dance, this is the CD for you. Even if you just want to know what the Japanese version of the dubbed songs actually sound like, you will be pleased with this CD. Now mind you the songs are all in Japanese and so are the lyrics, but you can find the lyrics in english on-line. The songs are very lovely and the recording is the same as in the series so you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this CD!

I've just brought this Cd from ebay and I love it^_^I can't even put it down.This Cd is great for any collectors out there.And you won be dissapointed because you get ALL the opening and ending songs to seasons 1-5.Plus The 2 Sailor Starlight Songs.And the 3 movie themes.This comes with a pretty 12-page-booklet.So don't sleep on it.

I own this CD, and it is very good, it has the original Japanese music, and includes the lyrics inside the booklet. It is a collection of the best songs from the original japanese version of the show. The total CD time is 61:18:50. Songs Princess Moon, Tuxedo Mirage, Raishiku Ikimasho, Sailor Star Song, Nagareboshi He, and Todokanu Omoi-My Friend's Love were written by Naoko Takeuchi herself! It is definantely worth checking out!

This is truely Sailormoon super best. It is so awsome!!! All the songs on here are really really REALLY cool! They include all the classics like the opening songs from seasons 1 and 3 which if (like me) you have'nt seen the jappanese version is like an extreme/exciting/fun/totally better version of the boring/not nearly as exciting opening song for the I think 1,2,3 and 4th seasons. Anyways instead of going on and on about each song in such an extreme depth that might be very helpful indeed but at the same time to long to finish in this lifetime....well you get the point so just scroll down.
1. The first song on this song is the opening song for the first season. It is very catchy and insrumental. If you have ever whatched Sailor moon you can get a pretty good idea from the opening song on how it sounds like (although like I said it is WAY better).

2.The secound song on this cd has kinda its own tune, sort of different but all the same absolutely great.

3.The third song on this song is a popular favorite for me. It is slow but just plain wonderful.

4.This is soooo energetic I promise you'll love it as soon as you listen to it.

5.Okay when you here this song I know exactly what you're going to think.....I quote WHAT KIND OF CHEESY RIP OFF IS THIS!!!....okay now let me tell you why. It's exacly the same song as #1, but don't worry because that's no reason not to buy this AMAZING CD, hey and like they say you can't have too much of a good thing Right? By the way still to this day I have no idea what the difference is(:

6. This song so beatiful and that says it all.

7. Okay at this point you are probably like what season are we at, right. Well to clear that up this the first song on the cd from season 4. Well anyways this one (like the last) is really great and beatiful and probably (excuse if I'm wrong) describes the relationship between Rini or Chibi-Usa and Pegasus/Helios. Just imagine that and add a song and you have #7 on this cd.

8. This song in my opinion is DEFINITLY the BEST!!!! It is a energetic,free,dance pro, song that has EVERYTHING you want in a good cd.For those of you who might wan't a preview or are wondring have I heard this song somewhere in the amazing world of Sailor Moon I can bet you have. On both the English and Jappanese versions of the 4th season have this song as the ending song!


9. Nine just like the last is energetic,fun and on a 9 out of 10 the opening or closing song for the 5th season (please quote that I'm not 100% sure on that).


10.This song is slow and for those of you who have eigther read or watched Sailor Stars if you remember the date between Seyia and Usagi/Serena this is the perfect song no duh. Any ways for those of you who don't a(remember b(don't know what the heck I'm talking about c(or just wan't a better view of this cd it absolutely rocks. YOU WILL LOVE IT!!! No doubt at all.

11. Number eleven is so cool and is the first of the two songs sung by the starlights. The title is SEARCH FOR YOURE LOVE!!! Not! But it should be, Believe me the title is in jappanese.It does truely rock though.

12.This song (next to #8 is the best).It has all the qulities of #8 and is sung by none oter then the great three lights!!!!! This song is so good.!!!!!!


13.Moon revenge is the name of this song and plese believe when I say this song is too good to be real, cause you know, it is.

14. Slow.....YES, Long......YES(in fact the longest song on the cd),Good......NO,.......IT IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL.I have no idea what season/movie this is from but for a slow song this thing jams.

15.This is the last song on the cd but is by far definitly not the worst. It starts out bright,fast and 100% excellent!!!



Okay so it was a bit long but you have to admit it was pretty good. The cd is about 1 hour long and is packed with fun filled songs that is a great edition to any true Sailor Moon fan's collection. so just don't sit there reading this review expand your collection of stuff that an addicted fan like you loves. How? By getting this cd of course!!Ohyah and about the price for what you're getting its worth every little penny.

This is a great cd, even though I do not own it, I do own each song on the CD over a span of about 15 Sailor Moon CDs. The one thing it should have had on it was Three Lights. They rule! But, having the opening and endings, plus Moon Revenge, great selection! For those wanting to hear Three Lights, check out Sailor Stars Best, songs 2 and 3. You'll love them!

Wow! This CD is really good and a good buy if you want to have all openings and endings with movie themes on one CD without changing discs. Well you might on another but that would be the Memorial Disk and that's very expensive and very hard to find so this would be a great buy.

I really, really love this CD. While I admit that I did not purchase it here, it's probably worth your money anyway. ^_^ This is a great choice for anyone who likes many of the anime closing songs (and, of course, the opening songs are here, too)and want them convienently together on one CD. This also features great songs like Moon Revenge (from the Sailor Moon R movie) and BOTH of the Three Lights songs featured on the anime! (Unfortunately, Three Lights fans such as myself must also buy more for the character singles and musical songs ^_^). All in all, this is a great CD for any fan of the JAPANESE Sailor Moon. I play this CD so much my family members are actually learning the words! ^_^

If you a) love Sailormoon b) like to dance c) enjoy Japanese music, then this CD is more than worth your money! Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon is my favourite anime. The only song they excluded that they should have had was Ai no Senshi. I love

This CD has all the songs from all the seasons of Sailor Moon. Every song you loved from the series is on this CD. All of the songs are sung beautifully. I will probably play this CD on a daily basis :) You should definitely buy this, you won't be disappointed!
