3.0 out of 5 stars My daughter enjoyed it, BUT
It fell apart. I honestly can't tell you anything about what the book is about. I am only commenting on the books condition. It only took about a week and all the pages starting coming unglued. She is 9 years old and is gentle with her books.

She rates the book as 5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Protector of Dreams..., January 27, 2001

As always, Naoko Takeuchi has done a wonderful, not to mention breathtaking job with this volume. This volume begins as Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Moon fall to the ground "dead" and her body begins to deteriorate. Just then, in a few pages that it was all a nightmare. This book will hold onto you until the last few pages. This book was one of my absolute favorites because I'm a big fan of the couple Helios and Chibiusa and it's really sweet.

To top that off, in the manga version, unlike the anime, the Amazoness Quartet do not "go away". Instead the become the Asteroid Senshi (they're soo cool!). Not only that, there is a little "bonus" story at the end that is really cute and an anime episode was based off of it. As I said before, this manga is one that you'll really enjoy and simply take your breath away. ^.^

5.0 out of 5 stars The End of Supers, August 29, 2001

Sailor Heartbreak (Minneapolis, MN USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sailor Moon Supers, Vol. 4 (Paperback)
I love this book! It's the end of the Supers series and it is the best ending to any of the series I've ever read! Here's a little overview . . .
Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask have been hit! The other Sailor Scouts soon fall too! But somehow Tuxedo Mask wakes up from his 'dream' and wakes the others. Now they must face Soul Hermit Zirconia. But Sailor Saturn and Chibi Moon haven't returned from going to fight the Amazoness Quartet. They have to keep going after taking a hit from the Sailor Scouts, Zirconia returns to the circus tent. He enters Nephrenia's mirror followed by Sailor Moon. While in the mirror, Sailor Moon rescuses Sailor Saturn and Chibi Moon. After that, Zirconiam and Nephrenia go to Elysion. But when the Sailor Scouts arrive they have one chance to defeat Nephrenia. But they find out about a curse laid upon Sailor Moon when she was a baby back in the days of the Moon Kingdom. And Sailor Moon loses her Silver Imperium Crystal to Nephrenia! Can she save herself and the world still? She must become someone stronger, and more able to defeat Nephrenia. She must get back the Holy Grail! Suddenly, she and Tuxedo Mask creat a power that will become the Holy Grail, but she doesn't have the power to activate it. The Sailor Scouts give her all of their power. Tuxedo Mask finally finds the Golden Crystal that had been sealed away in him. That's where Eternal Sailor Moon takes over. Will the earth be saved? Will the Sailor Scouts ever find peace? Is Helios going to die? And if he is saved, who saves him?
Get this book is great. You have to buy it and find out for yourself how great it is. Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars THis book is sooooo cool!, October 7, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Sailor Moon Supers, Vol. 4 (Paperback)
THis book is fanastic. Coninuing after Super Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask get shot, they begin to melt into skeletons on planet planet Elysion! But you'll see what happens after that when you read the book. Anyway, in this book you find out that Sailor Moon is cursed! You get to see her change into Eternal Sailor Moon. And you finally get to see all the Scouts in their princess forms. (Also Sailor Star forms.) Plus you also find out that Queen Nepherina was part of the Silver Mallenium. (Sorry. This is all out of order.) *You also see bonus halarious Rini's Diary. THey fight against a ghost that haunts the dentist. It's so funny!* So, if you're I moonie, I reccomend this book! >^.^<

5.0 out of 5 stars My Absolute Favorite for two reasons, story and art!!!, December 21, 2002
By
This review is from: Sailor Moon Supers, Vol. 4 (Paperback)
When my friend first showed me this manga in 7th grade I knew I had to get it. Last year I finally bought it with many others^^. When I re-read it I was blown away! It was sooo good and had such a sweet ending! Later that year I realized it served another purpose, it is a wonderful reference book if you wanted to draw the characters. It has all the Senshi in two different costumes, Tuxedo Mask, Helios, the 'Sailor Quartet' Queen Serenity, younger versions of Princess Serenity and the Inner Senshi and many others that you might want to draw. Plus they are drawn so much better then in previous volumes. I've said it before, but I just have to say it again: Naoko Takeuchi is such a wonderful artist and story teller, it would be a shame if anyone missed out on this series!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutly Lovely..., January 6, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Sailor Moon Supers, Vol. 4 (Paperback)
SMSS #4 is an abslolutly lovely addition to the SM manga dubbed series done by MIXX. Personaly I love the manga version since it has a much deeper meaning and is the TRUE version of SM (for those of you who think the anime is... ¬¬). The artwork is beautiful and the ending made me want to run over and grab SMStars from the publishers. ^^;; If your a die hard SM fan you really need to get your hands on these GN's, even for those non dubbie fans. It really isn't that bad having to read "scout" over "senshi" most of the time and the only real big difference from the english manga and the japanese is the names and places set in the dub by DiC and CWi. The story line is wonderful and could get any reader hooked. =D

5.0 out of 5 stars Sailormoon Super S 1-4, November 6, 2000

I finally got all four books of the the Super S series! All I have to say is: WOW. If you're hesitating to buy the manga in this series- Don't. It's *definitely* worth it. Even though the SuperS anime have a somewhat negative response (because of all the pink-ness, I suppose), the manga is SO MUCH better! It's more darker, and sweeter.. Plus, the Outer Senshi comes back too (Haruka!) ::drools:: Chibi-Usa doesn't really seem that irritating (to those of you who hate her), and the romance between her and Helios is genuinely *very* sweet :) AND, you get to see the soldiers' new fuku (uniforms) and the best part-- Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss! (heh). SuperS 1 & 2 are really cute & funny and SuperS 3 & 4 delves you into the plot (and has a lot of kawaii mushy moments between Usagi & her Mamo-chan, Chibi-Usa & Helios, AND the cutest family--Michiru, Haruka, Setsuna and their darling Hotaru-chan). Oh yeah-- the Amazoness Quartet! they're so cute too, and you'd get to see their REAL identities ;)Ok, I think I better shut up now.. go get all of them! I can't wait for the Super & Stars series :)

This is THE most cool comic book I have ever read! It totally blows Dennis the Menace out of the water!! The conclusion of the SuperS series is included in #4; including yet another oh-so cute 'n' funny "Rini's Diary" (What happened to the 'picture' part??). We see all of the sailor scouts "Sailor Guardian's" and the senshi in their princess forms!! Also Luna, Artemis and Diana turn into their human forms, (Flashback to the Sailor Moon S movie!), and Bunny flashbacks to the Silver Millennium. (There are some VERY cute scenes of Queen Serenity and Princess Serenity as a baby, as well as the six/seven year old Inner Senshi! Oh, and witness the birth of the one who possesses the second greatest power to the Queen (no, its not Tony Blair!), ETERNAL Sailor Moon! And a new crystal of the Pink Moon! (Guess who owns it?)

By
This review is from: Sailor Moon Supers, Vol. 4 (Paperback)
I give this book five stars! The artwork is amazing, of course, and the storyline is great. In this book, we find out the real identity of the Amazoness Quartet, The end of the Dead Moon Circus, and if Helios survives!! There's also a real cute story at the end called Rini's Diary. Get the book now! It's worth it, and soooo much better than the American Cartoon Network version.

5.0 out of 5 stars The conclusion to the superS series!, November 22, 2000

This is the ending to SuperS! It is wonderful. What can I say, I think it deserves more that 20 stars! This is so much better than the anime! The amzoness quartet make an appearance, The soilders get a new transformation, the Planet guaridans show up, the castles of the planets are named, and well, it wraps up SuperS. If you've been reading the SuperS mangas, This is how it all ends. want to know what happens to Serenity and her prince, how the Sailor Soilders defeat the Dead Moon Cirus, this book has the answers. I recomend this to anyone!
