Best info under my 9/20 comments

First impressions, all you get is the nRF24L01 module. Label is not overly illuminating. Not even a web site reference (why I started this with 3 stars).

Google "ITEAD Studio nRF24L01 module", and a few useful links show up:

1. Link to tutorial linking 2 Arduinos via nRF24L01 modules

[...]

2. Link to lots of information on this module, including a schematic of the card and the NXP manufacture's specification document for the nRF24L01 chip.

[...]

***** 3. But here is the best link I have found. Good stuff on interfacing these transceivers to an arduino. Secondary links to R24 libraries, examples/sample code, data sheets, vendors, and much more.

(Google "wikispaces Nrf24L01-2.4GHz-HowTo")
[...]

CAUTION - Vcc for this device is rated for 3.3 volts. The Arduino is based on 5 volts (note some Arduino versions have a 3.3 volt port). You will probably fry the module if you hook its Vcc to Arduino 5 volt power out. The module's SPI signal ports are supposed to be 5 volt tolerant. More on this later on.

I was a bit hesitant on choosing an NRF24L01+ module, because there are several available. These came recommended, however, and have been working like a charm ever since I plugged them into my Arduinos.

One thing I would change about them is that they lack a numbering on the pins. Pin 1 is marked by a box on the silk screen, but after that you need to poke around the net for a schematic.

I purchased this module to start wireless communication between an arduino and an Attiny84 running arduino code. Works great. Lots of documentation online.

These RF Tx/Rx modules come as depicted. I purchased four for a wireless project I am working on. The product appears to be of good quality.

Excellent device, small and easy to setup to use with different microprocessors. Working with this device was very easy and helped to demonstrate design conceptions using a wireless device.
