From the Publisher
Saint Bernards from the Stoan Perspective addresses the concerns of breeders, exhibitors, and judges of Saint Bernards. It also provides a solid foundation for those new to the breed. Author Stan Zielinski, with more than thirty years of experience with Saint Bernards, is active in the Saint Bernard Club of America, the Saint Bernard Club of Puget Sound, and the Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers. He is a licensed dog-show judge and was a student of the worlds foremost Saint Bernard authority, Beatrice M. Knight. Together with his wife, Joan, he established Stoans Kennel in Kent, Washington, where he has bred a number of champions and obedience title holders.
In Stans direct and often humorous manner of approaching a topic, he discusses puppies, breeding, faults, temperament, movement, size, judging, and all aspects of the Saint Bernard breed.
