Lovely Christmas Book,

This review is from: Saint Francis Celebrates Christmas (Hardcover)
This is a lovely book for young children about St. Francis and the nativity or creche. St. Francis was the first to represent the nativity scene, using live people & animals. Today in Italy they have very elaborate nativity scenes, and many include a statue of St. Francis. The book is wonderful to read to a child to better help explain the real meaning of Christmas--& it's not Santa!
