This video is by far the best of the Legends of Ireland collection. Both the stories of Patrick and Brendan are fascinating and worth hearing. This series looks more at the legends and not all the factual statements are correct (or at least they don't all go along with current scholarship regarding Patrick and Brendan) but the visual segments are fun and dramatic. It is neat to see a group of monks rowing away in an old coracle. Yes, the boat is smaller than what Brendan would have sailed, but there is something dramatic in the scene.

The video spends time talking about each saint with different people talking about each one. It follows a documentary format, but has some nice acted out scenes with the characters. I'd definitely recomend this video to people interested in either of these saints.
