This is a wonderful book which gives a brief description of the life of each saint whose feast or memorial is listed in the official liturgical calendar of the Roman Catholic Church. It gives not only a biography, but also a sense of their spirituality. It is great for everyone, but teachers of religious education (C.C.D. and R.C.I.A.) will especially find it useful. It is an excellent source for priests, like myself, who like to use the life of the day's saint as an illustration for his homily at daily Mass. I highly recommend this book for everyone with an interest in learning about saints, and in becoming one!
