This is an outstanding record by Mollie and a very talented group of musicians, including her husband Rich. As a person who is very familiar with all her recordings, both solo and with brother Tim O'Brien, I think this is by far her best work. If you like folk, jazz, blues, rock, and americana music, you can't go wrong here. Mollie has one of the great voices in today's music world, and very good taste in song selection. I highly recommend this recording, and guarantee you will be delighted to own it.

I've been a big fan of both Mollie O'Brien and her amazing brother Tim ever since seeing them play together in Seattle many moons ago. Tim is a bluegrass legend but Mollie is a bit less prolific with recordings. This release with her husband, though, solidifies both in my mind as wonderful recording artists as well as people well worth seeing live. If you like bluegrass or "Americana" style, I'm guessing you will really like this CD. In my opinion, her other stuff is quite good, but this one is great!

Heard a cut today on NPR; bought immediately. The Ghost of You Walks is simply haunting. The vocal delivery and understated accompaniment is simply beautiful. The disc has a fairly broad range which appeals to my eclectic tastes. Although the guitar sounds a bit folky at times, the overall effect of the disc is closer to jazz.
