5.0 out of 5 stars Don't Need Drivers
I got one of these for my girl for Christmas and when I plugged it in, it didn't work. Then I read the enclosed instructions: turn off computer, unplug old keyboard, plug in new, boot. When I followed the instructions, Windows XP installed the driver for me. I had to wait and then restart the computer when prompted to. Then it worked fine. Her 9 year old computer runs...

1.0 out of 5 stars No drivers
Neither Windows XP or Windows 7 can load a driver automatically for this keyboard. The manufacturer web site does not have drivers (it appears to be an e-commerce site). Thus, I wouldn't recommend this keyboard, even though it looks great. The contact form on the company web site doesn't work either: [...]

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't Need Drivers, December 25, 2010
This review is from: HELLO KITTY MUTIMEDIA KEYBOARD (Personal Computers)
I got one of these for my girl for Christmas and when I plugged it in, it didn't work. Then I read the enclosed instructions: turn off computer, unplug old keyboard, plug in new, boot. When I followed the instructions, Windows XP installed the driver for me. I had to wait and then restart the computer when prompted to. Then it worked fine. Her 9 year old computer runs Windows XP, has low-speed USB ports, and cannot dole out much power to USB devices. This has made USB devices fail to work in the past, but right now she is using this keyboard with a USB optical mouse and charging an MP3 player and everything is working. (Other people may need to get USB Highspeed 7 Port Hub w/ AC Adapter (Silver) for everything to work.) The multimedia keys worked out of the box and are very convenient for girls not technically inclined. The keyboard does not work from my BIOS, but I see this as a plus because I don't want the little miss to accidentally break anything there. If the BIOS pops up, I just tell her to turn the machine off and back on again and everything works. I saw another review here saying the manufacturer website lacked drivers or any support, and he is right. I too tried and failed to find support listings and drivers. You shouldn't need them, just follow the instructions and if that doesn't work send it back, no stress needed. There are probably some shortcomings to this board, but as far as my girl is concerned, 5 stars.
