The good :

DEMOLISHING performance, decent picture, decent sound, 2 audio streams [2.0 + 5.1 AC3], great atmosphere. The guys were in top form and took the jap crowd by storm almost to the point of bringing down the large, packed venue. The live versions are wilder, rawer, heavier and better than their studio counterparts, esp. noticeable on the guitar solos and the not-as-polished vocals. The band were on fire and the japanese audience were in total awe . The ending for a Sex Pistols' songs replaced one song on the set as a homage.

Don't take me wrong; I'm more the hardcore-punk type of guy, and only remember them for their MTV clips, and even used to diss out these more melodic bands but found myself listening to The Used, Alk Trio,Simple Plan and Sum 41 these days (getting age-related mellow days as of late).

The not so good :

Extras and all the dvd lasts for about 74'[gig 64'-2 videoclips 6' and some funny stuff 3'].Paired with 2 audio streams and a picture authored with an inadequately high variable pic rate makes the single-layer DVD exhibit some macroblocking artifacts and graininess on certain scenes, and the pic is not so sharp on the darker parts, and I watched it on a CRT TV !!!

The sound is overall good, with guitars being the loudest in the mix as is to be expected from a punk-rock band, but the singer's axe is mixed in way louder on the right channel and the rhythm axe is quieter on the left, so since I like to play my stuff at realistic volumes I had to resort to switchin it to mono which yielded a good result ( and prevented me from going deaf from the right ear).
