Quickly creates continuous spiral strands, ribbons or thin slices from vegetables. The Spiral Slicer orignially from Japan is used exclusively to make edible decorative garnish in many oriental dishes. It is called the Metro Garnisher which is identical to Joyce Chens product. This tool is great for raw foodists and vegetarians alike. Our favorite recipe to make with this unique kitchen tool is raw spaghetti pasta. Just process a zucchini (fat ones work best) through the machine, and watch long strands of zucchini pasta come out! Then blend up a simple pasta sauce in the blender (we use, fresh tomatoes, soaked sun dried tomatoes, garlic, red peppers) and pour it over the thin, long strands of zucchini and enjoy. Turn almost any firm vegetable into fine spaghetti-like strands or incredibly thin, long ribbons. Make professional-looking garnishes, onion rings, potato nests, elegant salads, vegetable pizza toppings, and so much more. Vegetables can also be turned into thin, uniform slices, julienne strips or tiny cubes by adding cuts prior to slicing. Made in Japan.

Could not get this product to work as expected.
As far as customer satisfaction, I had no problems returning the slicer, my refund was prompt.
I bought several of these to give as X-mas gifts.
Very disappointed to find out the teeth were plastic.
It doesn't work well. I like my old Joyce Chen
Item is flimsy and hard to operate. The sections separate while trying to operate and make the spiral ribbons. I would not recommend this purchase.Published 8 months ago by Stephanie
I love this thing! It works beautifully, and comes in handy for getting enough fresh veggies.Published 12 months ago by Kath
A vegetable peeler and a hand held julian blade work better than the Saladacco Spiral Slicer/Garnishing Machine. And are less expensive. Read morePublished 13 months ago by K. T.
Doesn't work, a piece of junk. The veg. don't stayin the prongs, because they are too short to really grasp the veggies.Published 13 months ago by Lucy S.
Bought this excited about spiralizing --
The blade is at a strange angle so it just mangled the food rather than creating spirals. Darn it! Disappointed. Read more
this product does't work unless you like slimy tiny noodles that have no substance to them. It's not even worth returning because that mean another poor soul will end up with this... Read morePublished 15 months ago by Iniabasi Okon
