RIPS!!!,

Have been following this band since a few of the members left through the eyes of the dead. And though there are similarities with T.T.E.O.T.D this band takes it to a whole nother' level!Love the production, very raw and gritty feel, awesome musicianship, and the vocalist is a effin' beast... If you like older death metal with some european style shredding( at the gates, black dahlia murder, "early" shadows fall) then you'll love this. To me its just very refreshing with all the deathcore and un-originality out there now. Nice to see a new band, not re-inventing the melodic death metal wheel, but to put there own mark and make a sound of their own... Pick this S##t up!

Graves of Valor is Amazing,

This review is from: Salarian Gate (Audio CD)
This is a death metal album you need to have. When I started listening to this album, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Graves of Valor brings the death, and doesn't disappoint me. Salarian Gate is a great debut album. Graves of Valor has previous members of Through The Eyes of The Dead. I think Graves of Valor is better than Through The Eyes of The Dead. If you love death metal you're going to get hooked to this album. I needed something new to listen to. After listening to Job For A Cowboy's Ruination for over three weeks now, I think if you like Job For A Cowboy you'll like Graves of Valor. I am glad I chose to check out Graves of Valor.
My favorite songs on Salarian Gate are: 1. Salarian Gate 2. Bridles of Incitatus 3. Sic Semper Tyrannis 4. Pestilence

To be honest, I was never a fan of Through The Eyes of the Dead(this band has 3 former members) and I was very skeptic upon putting this into my cd player, but after the first song had finished, I wondered if I was dreaming. This is a fantastic album of 2009 and makes it in my top 5. Pounding drums with chugging guitars and your not-so-average breakdowns. And the vocalist, wow. Wherever they found him, must be a pile of dead bodies, because this guy is BRUTAL. This is another one of these album's that grow on you the more you listen to it. If you like Job For A Cowboy and stuff along the lines of them... definatly check this out!
