Vegan. Organic. Kosher. Not your typical tortilla chip. Each chip contains chia seeds which give a prominent toasted seed flavor similar to toasted sesames. Made from organic white corn, organic canola oil, white chia seeds, water, and sea salt. 400 mg of Omega-3 per 1oz/28g serving. "Smart." Chia seeds are from the salvia family of plants. Salvia means 'to heal.' This review is out there for those for whom this makes a difference. See all of my reviews for more great choices. These chips taste great and they're a lot healthier than traditional corn chips. My cardiologist agrees. I can't find them on store shelves and it seems Amazon no longer carries them in stock. I've signed up twice to be notified when they become available, but that system failed. I checked, and they were offered here, but I wasn't notified. Now they're unavailable again. You can sign up to be notified, but they won't tell you when they come in.

My husband and I have tried this flavor along with the blue ones. We are crazy about them. Sometimes, I consume an entire bag in one sitting! Like the previous poster stated, the taste of the salba seeds is similar to toasted sesame seeds. The texture is crisp, chips are fresh. Recently, the cost of these has gone up. I don't know if we'll be ordering again since they were priced reasonably. Even if we do, it won't be as regularly. But, if cost isn't an issue, give these chips a try. You may not reach for another bag of Doritos!
