3.0 out of 5 stars German pop group in English
I was really excited to see "Suzy" playing on VH1 in Germany. Fool's Garden seemed like it was a one-hit wonder with "Lemon Tree" back in 1996. "Suzy" is a wonderful song, and I can listen to it over and over again. Unfortunately, the rest of the album isn't quite up to par. There are moments of great things happening, but a lot of the...

One of the few albums I can listen to all the way through without skipping any songs and then promptly listen to again. When I am down they are an honest pick-me-up.

5.0 out of 5 stars A mixup between U2, STING & THE BEATLES, April 9, 2001

When I bought Go and ask peggy for the principal thing, I really wanted more of Fool's Garden. Then this one came. Well, it's an almost perfect cd. The lyrics aren't always very good, but the melody, like, I can listen to most of these songs a zillion times and not get bored. Fool's Garden doesn't really have it's own style. Sometimes they use the mellowtron in their songs, and makes it just like the beatles made their songs. Volker Hinkels voice is almost like the one of Sting.. Some numbers are undoubtly inspired by U2. Anyone I know really digs this cd!

"Suzy" is a wonderful song, and I can listen to it over and over again. Unfortunately, the rest of the album isn't quite up to par. There are moments of great things happening, but a lot of the lyrics seem to be overly confusing. However, it's not a bad album to listen to, and i've enjoyed listening to it many times.
