I have been privileged to have a plethora of fruitful career roles. I am including a recent role as a writer in an effort to share my many rich and varied career experiences; this is my 5th career segment. I earned advanced degrees in nursing, business and even Metaphysics. Business provided me with a comfortable living and Metaphysics taught me how to live. Both skills are required for a truly rich full life.
My philosophy is, "Life is meant to be joyful". Regardless of the circumstances you find yourself in, there is always a choice." People in sales, the helping professions, teaching and business, among others come face-to-face with reality daily. My first book, Born to Sell: A Sales Primer, addresses these issues head on as part of the sales cycle. I show readers that it doesn't matter if you are selling a product, a service, a concept, a position or a widget; the principles of selling are the same. Selling techniques can be learned, practiced and refined.
My second book, "Sales Success Now" is truly unique. Not only do I share my personal success stories in sales, in addition I interview fifteen of the world's most successful sales leaders, including Dr. Ivan Misner (BNI) and Josh Axe. Collectively this assembled group of sales super stars touches most major portions of the globe. I love books that are in an interview format with the experts. To me it make sense to accumulate the views of selling experts and house them all in one place. I would have purchased this book solely for the interview with Dr. Ivan Misner,the Founder & Chairman of Business Networking International (BNI). His sales networking group is the largest in the world. He built an empire by offering a great forum where small businesses can network. So the interview with him is invaluable.

Dr. Misner's is a New York Times Bestselling author who has written 16 books including his latest #1 bestseller about gender, called Business Networking.

He writes a monthly columnist for Entrepreneur magazine and Fox Business News and teaches business management at several universities throughout the United States.

To get an interview with Dr. Misner is not easy. The author of Sales Success Now asks some very compelling questions that are revealing in a way I have not seen before from Misner.

One of my part-time jobs involves selling various products online and I must say that I find this book really useful and easy to understand.

I think that it's the first time when I read a book structured in interviews. Every chapter has one topic and one expert ready to answer all your questions, and this kind of writing makes it and easy and fast reading.
What is definitely amazing is that there are available interviews with important characters that work in the sales niche, like Dr. Ivan Misner (the Founder & Chairman of BNI) and Dr. Josh Axe.

If you want to learn new techniques, terminologies and many other useful things that may help you in your career, than this is the book for you.

I am a BNI member and follow the rules of giver's gain. I was intrigued by this book in that it not only had an interview with BNI founder Ivan Misner, but also included great sales leaders like Mike Bosworth, Dr. Bill Halbert, and Dr. Josh Axe. I felt that I gained the perspective of many authors and sales experts without having to read over a dozen books. I recommend this one to folks that have limited time and are seeking to gain solid sales techniques quickly.

I found the material in the book to be practical and pragmatic. Everyone sells everyday of their professional, personal and public life. This isn't just another book touting a "magic" formula but real tips and tricks from diverse, successful people. The book is an easy read and a good reference to revisit when needed.
