5.0 out of 5 stars Great help for the new user., September 22, 2005
By
John Brooke (Tucker, GA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Salesforce.com For Dummies (Paperback)
I purchased several copies of the book for my sales team whose technical proficiency was across the board. While all of the material is covered in the online help available from Salesforce.com, several team members felt much more comfortable with a book that they could hold. It is a great help in getting all of the team members to use the same nomenclature which is the first step in any sales "methodology" becoming effective.

Those wishing a deeper dive, should look at the author's other books targeted towards a more advanced and technical audience.

2.0 out of 5 stars Wouldn't recommend the Kindle Edition, February 8, 2008
By
Leland Sainty (San Francisco, USA) - See all my reviews
If you're considering this title in the Kindle edition - think twice. There are numerous screenshots which are simply too small to read. Text can be enlarged on the Kindle, but images cannot. Stick with the paper edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's Like Having a Tiny Consultant in Your Hand, October 22, 2008

(REAL NAME)
I'm relatively new to Salesforce.com and I've found this book to be a huge help. At my organization, we did not hire any consultants to assist us in customizing Salesforce.com for our needs. This book has been by my side as a handy resource to the questions that I've had as I get comfortable with Salesforce.com Regardless of your technical proficiency, this book is a good resource to those look to become more comfortable with Salesforce.com.
