These work great for relieving pain in sore muscles.
Brenda J.
They adhere quite strongly, and are like any adhesive applied to the skin--it can smart a bit when you take it off!
Deborah Crawford
They really work well, better than any other patch, pain cream, or spray.

I really like the idea of a pain patch, but in the past have found the actual application to be lacking. This one, however, does work the best of any pain patch I have tried. It has helped with bruises, strained muscles, and even sprains (although don't expect magic!).

The main problem, of course, is that it cannot go everywhere. For places where the pain patch is too big, or simply cannot reach, try using: ★ Warrior Mist Natural Pain Reliever (1oz - Over 100 Servings) ★ Fight Muscle Pains - Promote Joint Health - Improve Workout Performance ★ Try it 100% Risk Free (1). Warrior Mist has long been something I've used...even since my weight lifting days. It helps with inflammation and sore muscles, even arthritis and sore or aching joints. Just spray a shot on the area that hurts and you will get almost instant relief. Try it for yourself.

I have a lot to say about these, so please bear with me. I had pulled a back muscle in December, and had had little success in getting the pain to go away. I tried the usual suspects - the family of NSAIDS, heating pads, bengay, biofreeze, but nothing really did anything. It felt nice to have Hubby rub goo on my back, but it only lasted a short while.

I was so stiff and sore I could barely bend. Everyday tasks were a joke - I had to use my grabber to get anything off the floor. When I would lay down at night to go to bed, I would get sharp cramps like a "charlie horse" in my back, which were so painful I'd be in tears. I was ready to just give up ever feeling like I could bend again.

I did a little whining online to my friends about my sore back. One of them said she had found one product that actually had worked for her - Salonpas. I had never heard of it, and sent Hubby on a scouting mission. He found the large pads at another drug chain store, and bought a pack for me. I had my first night without the severe muscle cramps in several months! I was ecstatic! (See? Sometimes it pays off to "vent" to your friends!)However, those pads were very large, and pretty expensive, with only five pads being in the box.

So, I did what I always do - researched the items online. I found some great prices right here on Amazon.
I bought this size and a larger one. These smaller pads smelled very differently from the large ones at the drug chain, so I was a little suspicious - were they the same thing? These smelled of a blend of menthol and wintergreen. It isn't offensive, and certainly not nearly as overwhelming as things like Bengay.

I can say that I don't think I could go without these things any longer. Yes, they make that much of a difference.

It seemed a little weird.. Salonpas. Ive heard about it all over - friends, internet ads, Shaq even promoted it unofficially. Is it a gimic or does it work?

Well - $11.xx for a box of 120 - why not.

The strips are two per green plastic divider. Each is 3'' x 1 1/2 ''? It smells like bengay and sticky like patches i get from my back doctor. (Backsurgery at L5s1 and it causes pain all over).

So i was reframing my door and had some issues. These arrived just in time and i slapped 4 on. It doesnt say on the box how many to use at once but website says '2 per spot, 4 at a time'. Ok no problem. I got 4 on areas of my back that were outta control and after about 40 minutes it actually helped.

First a cool wave, than warm, and than eventually the muscle stopped spazzing and the other pains melted away. I like it because the 'icy hot/ben gay' smell isnt NEARLY as strong as putting on the cream. Its also not nearly as messy like the creams or other stuff.

Only downside is if you put these on and go to work and sweat - they will come off after a while.

Its hard to tel how long the menthol and camphor feeling (the warm and cool feeling) lasted for.

Over all - 120 patches.. id say a good deal.

Another reviewer was saying something about a different color box and being better.
I went to the website and this is it:
Camphor 1.2%.....Topical Analgesic
Menthol 5.7%.....Topical Analgesic
Methyl Salicylate 6.3%.....Topical Analges

The blue box version he talked about:
Menthol 3%.....Topical analgesic
Methyl salicylate 10% (NSAID*).....Topical analgesic
*nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug

The Methly Salicylate is what is in aspercreme.

Hi - I bought these in hopes of relieving golfer's elbow in my left arm. I'd put these on my forearm area and then go have a golf lesson or go hit a bucket of balls. Well by the time I would finish, the skin would be on fire, and taking it off was like removing duct tape off of a hairy mans leg. VERY painful. My skin would remain red and sore for awhile. After about 3-4 times using them, I had to return them. It is possible if you use them on tougher not so sensitive skin that they would do what your looking for. But for sensitive area's like forearms, or neck etc, I do NOT recommend them.

My wife has very bad arthritis, and she swears by Salon patches. she get instant relief from this product. She has used much more expensive prescription patch products and they do not work as well as Salon patches.
This product keeps my wife moving forward with much less pain in her shoulders and knees.
Thank god for this product.
