Salsa mixes both hard and soft rubber on the outside of the Pepperjack . The peppers, in contrasting colors to the squares they're housed in, are hard rubber . The squares are soft . The two make for a long - lasting comfy ride .

I love pepperjacks. They're durable, comfy, and grippy. Also they're a bit longer than most grips, which I really like. I've mauled a lot of similar grips, but pepperjacks are hard to kill. They are open ended and ship with an end cap, which make them easier to put on and take off than a closed grip like ourys. The dual density rubber pattern is awesome, it makes sure your hands stay put and I find it very comfy. On the cushy scale these are slightly firmer than odi cush and ourys. I use them both with and without gloves, no complaints either way.

Very happy with the whole ordering and shipping process. Very good product. My son is using them on his Razor Scooter. Much better than the foam originals that came with the scooter. ONLY PROBLEM IS THE DIFFICULTY IN GETTING THEM ON!!!
