A Good Basic Starter Dough Book,

This review is from: Salt Dough: Just 3 Ingredients - More than 100 Projects! (American Girl Library) (Spiral-bound)
I like both the price on the gently used versions and the very easy to follow instructions and colorful projects that are also easy to do.It's a good way to start as so many books have "master dough artists" creations and it is a bit intimidating. Best to start like a child, simply and have fun. Good book!

This is a great little book. It is from the "The American Girl Library," so it is written in such a way that girls 8 and up can pretty easily read and follow the steps. I bought it for myself and I'm almost 50! It has some neat tips (like putting a ball of foil in the body of a creation to help it cook quicker). The directions are well-supplemented by colorful photographs. Best of all (for me) were the tips on how to repair an already hardened creation that has broken. I love this little book!

This is a cute picture book for kids. It has pictures of objects that were made with the dough, but there are little or no instructions on how to form the bodies or how to construct any of the other items. There may be over 100 pictures of projects, but not instuctions for projects.
