You only need to read this book to find a friend you can cherish for life. His very life will humble you and lift you up and make you smile all at the same time. Soon you will realise that the elder would happily welcome you into his life and that he would show his love and share his wisdom with you. You may find your heart radiating loving heat and joy as you get to know Elder Isidore.

When I realise how hard I've gotten (yet again) I dig through my books to find Salt of the Earth. Elder Isidore will show you Christ.

I pray you find the same in Elder Isidore. Also don't be surprised if this book leads you on to another and another. Enjoy your journey.

btw, this is the third time I've bought this book for myself, the others being so tattered. This is the only book I've bought more than one copy of besides the Bible.

This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever reaad... It must be read to be experienced. (I cried at the end of this book, and I am not a weepy person!) Definitely worth owning a few copies, because you will want to lend it to people -- who will probably not want to give it back.

A simple and beautiful account of an encounter with a simple and beautiful man. Glory be to God.
