From Library Journal
Angus, a Salt Lake City native and travel agent, presents a historic overview of Salt Lake City with an outline of five walking and six bicycle tours. The walking tours, which contain more points of interest, include the downtown business and entertainment districts, Capitol Hill, and the University of Utah, while the bicycle tours feature various neighborhoods and gardens. Each tour has numbered points of interest and accompanying maps, and all but one offer sidetrips or shortcuts. The photos are better than average, but, as with most travel guides, more shots of tour highlights would have been nice. The author has aimed this guide at locals and city visitors while intending it to complement existing histories and architectural studies. It should appeal to both these audience as well as to students of Utah history and architecture.
