An enticing blend of fine black tea and exotic spices, this tea evokes the excitement and the magic of travels to faraway lands. Enjoy a glimpse at the mysteries of ancient cultures while sipping Chai in your favorite chair. Our mix contains only the barest hint of milk powder (add milk for a richer taste) and is not sweetened -- add sugar or honey to taste! To make a single cup of chai, steep 1 heaping tsp of mix in ¾ cup of hot water for 3-5 minutes, then top off with whole or skim milk, strain and add honey or sugar. To make 4 cups of chai: boil 3 cups of water with 4 heaping teaspoons of the Chai mix for 3-5 minutes, add 1 cup of milk and bring to a boil. Strain and sweeten (we recommend 3 tsp of honey for 4 cups).
