Although I'm still not too sure about the glass top, I love this scale!
It' easy to use, the display is big enough to actually read (I don't have to wear my glasses to read it), and the display stays lit long enough for me to get off the scale and still read my weight -- no more trying to see those tiny little numbers while trying to look past my protruding tummy!

Love this scale as you don"t have to do all sorts of contortions to see your weight. All you have to do is step on and then hop off and voila! your weight appears in large numbers even Mr. Magoo could read.

I purchased this scale for my mom who has a problem with fluid retention and must monitor her weight daily. The display is large enough for her to see and it stays illuminated long enough for her to step off and write it down. Overall this is a great product and the saying of "you get what you pay for" definitely applies.

This scale does not give consistent readings and is very complicated to set up. If you have a permanent place to keep it on a flat hard floor, it may work well, but I do not have room in my bathroom to leave it flat, so I keep it in my bedroom, stored on its' side. The set up process is very complicated involving 3-5 steps which you have to go through every time that you use it. I can't imagine a more complex procedure to go through and it has to be initialized every time that you use it. There are several buttons on the side of the scale that need to be reset every time that you use it to set the time and pounds or grams measure. Even then, the weight readings seem to fluctuate too much for accuracy. PLEASE DO NOT THROUGH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AWAY LIKE I DID!!! I know that digital scales are supposed to be the most accurate, but the others must be better than this one. If you do buy it, save your packaging so that you can send it back if you do not like it! Wish that I had.
