I just received this scale yesterday, and so far I am very impressed. After unpacking the box I only had to pull a little tab out from under the batteries and then it was ready to go, very simple! In order to turn the scale on all you do is very lightly tap the edge of the glass and wait maybe 2 seconds until it zero's out. The product description states that it goes up to .2 pound increments. That is incorrect, it actually goes up to the tenth of a pound or .1 pound increments which I thought was very cool. I initially got on the scale no less than 10 or so times and it was never different by more than .2 pounds. Overall it seems to be a very accurate, good looking scale . I can't say anything about long term reliability but if something happens I'll update this review.

I purchased this scale even though no one had reviewed it. I was worried with the heavy discount (I paid $30, plus shipping) but it is fine. For the price, I didn't find any other scales with the same digital 0.1 lb increments. It worked out of the box, no problems. The shipping was also very fast.

I compared this scale accuracy against a beam-balance doctors scale and found it to be equally precise. Works well on a hard surface as well as a carpeted floor.

I love this scale. Accurate consistent weights and looks great.

I've only had the scale for about a month now, but so far, it's great. It's accurate, and displays the same reading when I step on it multiple times. I don't have any problems with the "tapping" function to turn it on, and so far, haven't had any issues with the batteries. Plus, I love the way it looks. It wasn't my first choice for a bathroom scale, but I couldn't be happier.

I love it. I have been using for over year, no problem at all. Fun to use it.

Looks good, works great. Only peeve is how hard it has to be "tapped" to start the zero calibration.

It is a very good scale, and very classy looking. For the price I got this product I think it was a very good buy. So far its working great, no complaints, the numbers on the scale are big and easy to read. I will recommend this product.

I've had a scale or two over the years, and none could surpass this one. It's built solid, is extremely accurate down to tenths of a pound, and the design is superb. It has the appearance of a very high quality scale, but I'll tell you, if for some reason, it ever conks out on me, I would just replace it with the exact same scale again. The accuracy alone is well worth the money, especially when you are dieting. You can really keep track of your progress, and feel assured that you have a dependable poundage reading. This has given me complete control over my weight.
