I'm not sure why one Reviewer says that the battery is impossible to replace because there are two metal tabs, one for each battery that when depressed the battery falls out so you can insert a new one. The scale is easy to turn on and off and unlike some other more popular brands on Amazon this one has conversion buttons which I like better than scrolling through a menu. I tested mine with pennies and some pre-weighed items and it's dead on accurate. I would by this product again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a small kitchen scale.

I got this scale to replace an Escali scale I had (which was pretty crappy). It is great! I don't mind the plastic -- it is light weight and easy for me to grab and use. I love the liquid feature, and that the buttons have no grooves to catch food. It is nice and compact, but still has a high capacity, which is nice to have too.

Overall I am happy with this scale, but as other have noted, it is mostly plastic and cheap feeling (my last aquatronic was more glass and metal), and the buttons are difficult to press. That is I have to press them 2 or 3 times sometimes for them to actually respond. Other than that, the scale works well, and seems to be fairly accurate.
