SALTER FOOD SCALE
I really love this product. Highly recommend it. It allows incorporation of a tare. As a member of Weight Watchers, it allows me to quickly weigh portions; and the scale is thin, so it's easy to store just about anywhere.

Save your money
I purchased this scale as a replacement for my previous glass-topped Salter scale, but am returning it. The photos suggest a solid product made of aluminum, but in reality it made of flimsy plastic with the barest veneer of aluminum on top. The side buttons are also very fiddly and hard to use. I purchased this scale as a replacement for my previous glass-topped Salter scale, but am returning it. The photos suggest a solid product made of aluminum, but in reality it made of flimsy plastic with the barest veneer of aluminum on top. The side buttons are also very fiddly and hard to use. The only redeeming features on this scale are the legible display and the fact it uses standard AAA batteries instead of hard to find (and expensive) button cells.
