Here is the clock we all need! It's a basic, no thrills clock. Nothing more than a lever you switch to the left to change the time, turn the lever to the right to change the alarm time, and keep it in the middle so to not bump any buttons by accident and change something. Naturally there are hour and minute buttons to push in to change the hour/minute. Next is a Alarm on/off switch. And a Snooze button for 2 minute snoozes that doubles as a light for the time (blue background).

It takes two AAA batteries that last a LONG time! I'd say close to a year if not longer! Uses very little power, and mine is used once a day if not more!

Also this clock can take it's share of falls to the floor! Great for traveling, lightweight.

I bought one of these little clocks about 15 years ago and it has turned out to be the best clock in the house. Always reliable and easy to work, easy to read numbers at night, great alarm with snooze. Easy to set. Finally after all these years the clock still works, but the alarm has become unreliable. I tried some different brands of travel alarm clocks, but the alarms were never what I wanted. Some too soft, some no snooze. This one is perfect. The best clock/alarm ever! I was thrilled when I saw it on Amazon's site. I highly recommend this clock. It can't be beat!

I was afraid this digital clock would be on the weak side as far as the alarm. Westclox is an excellent company but....well, I set the alarm. Beep beep..not enuf to wake me up if really tired. Then a loader beep beep...much better then WOW...that will wake you up...a continuous sound I guess that goes on forever or until turned off or the battery dies. Easy to set, easy to read and with a snooze button. Seems to keep good time. Two AAA batteries, not included.

I love amazon cause you can research reviews for an hour when buying a 7$ alarm clock. I think my research was worth it. Weatherman pretty much wrote up the review that I would have, he covered everything.

This is exactly like my old Westclox alarm that lasted for more than 20 years! I was so glad to have found another one. Easy to turn off alarm, or see the time in the dark. Big digital numbers. Fantastic price. Thank you! (only 4 stars because the right button sticks a bit :-))

The clock's alarm did not work correctly (and the light did not light) when it arrived. It seems there was a quality issue with the clock and I fixed it(at least, for now) by opening the clock and jiggling the wiring connections inside.

The clock seemed like a good value for the price - it's nice looking and is a great size. The alarm is loud enough but a big drawback is that the alarm rings for 30 seconds or so and turns itself off. It's as though it clicks it's own snooze button (it will ring again, 4 minutes later). A good sleeper will sleep right through this, or at least, ignore the ringing.

I agree with another reviewer's suggestion to read Weatherman's review. It is a complete description of this clock and how it works. Simple to set time and alarm. The time screen glows an easily readable, but not harsh, blue when you push the snooze bar in the dark. It only glows while you are pushing the bar - a battery saver. I always read the Amazon reviews, no matter what I am buying. Based on the reviews for many of these inexpensive clocks, this is the one I picked. I have been using it about a week and the clock and the alarm work well and the price was very reasonable. Good purchase.

This clock has been around; when I recently visited my friend, there in his bedroom sat the same clock, dusty, and old, but still functioning. The clock is very dependable, easy to use, and attractive. It's relatively cheap, and it uses a standard battery (not some weird special coin type battery). It's a great product. My only complaint is I wish they made a portable travel alarm clock that would have a night light on all the time, alas such a product doesn't currently exist to my knowledge.

This is the third such clock in 20 years my husband and I have owned. Many other clocks, of the alarm variey, are harder to program, either too big or too small. This model is PERFECT! We each have one on our own side of the bed. The ONLY reason I had to replace my original one in the first place is that it got kind of "flooded" in our trip to Costa Rica, after having had it for nearly twenty years!
