I was well aware of the problems associated with taking iron supplements and I did a lot of research when it turned out I had become anemic following treatment for breast cancer. This liquid very quickly built up my strength and had me feeling well again. My doctor was very surprised at how quickly I was able to raise my iron levels back to normal and was even more surprised when I told him I had no stomach upset or irregularity from taking this product. I stopped taking it recently when I ran out and could really feel the difference. I'm back on it and could feel the "boost" after only a few doses. I highly recommend this product if you have been worn down from a medical condition or if you are female experiencing difficult periods. It just works. I'm weird and kind of like the metallic taste of this (it really isn't all that unpleasant and is reminiscent of prune juice), but if it really bothers you, mix it with juice. The perfect solution is orange juice because Vitamin C boosts your absorption of iron...so drink up!

This tonic is definitely the most notably effective vitamin supplement I've ever tried. It is pretty encompassing, and includes the vitamins necessary to digest the other vitamins within it. For example, the human body cannot break down Vitamin D unless accompanied by Calcium; Iron and Vitamin C are also interdependent. Floravital tonics make sure to include everything needed to digest the essential vitamins, not just the vitamin itself. The consumer thus absorbs a significantly higher percentage of the nutrients, and it makes a noticeable improvement of overall health quickly (in my case, about a week before I noticed my energy levels had increased, my lips were no longer chapped, I was sleeping well, my skin had more circulation to it). Obviously, not everyone will react the same, but if you have anemia or another vitamin deficiency, I thoroughly recommend this product.

I know you can't believe everything that you read on the web but I can tell you that this stuff really works. My hemoglobin was 7.3. Within 4 weeks of taking the the Floridix my hemoglobin went up to 9.0. I am a Nurse and I have struggled with anemia for many years. I have taken regular ferrous sulfate in the past but it caused too much GI (Stomach) upset. Floradix has never caused me any of these problems so I am better able to be consistent with taking it.

I recommend this to anyone who needs to take iron supplementation. What is good about this product is that it also has B-vitamins and Vitamin C which helps your body to absorb the iron.

The best thing is that Floradix is a vegetarian product, which appeals to me. I thank my sister-in-law for introducing me to this.

I suffer from fibromyalgia. This supplement has literally changed my life! I have more energy now, than I've had in years!

Floravital iron and herb yeast free is an excellent way to increase ferritin levels which is a necessary way to prevent hair loss among other items helpful to hair loss.

I bought this product because I am pregnant and my iron levels were on the low side. My midwife recommended that I begin taking an iron supplement and I had read that this one was highly bioavailable and did not cause constipation, like some others do. I'm glad I started taking it - my iron levels went up!

My kids and I have been taking this supplement for years, and are quite happy with the results. Some might find the flavor unappealing, but for some reason I actually like it, and the gluten-free aspect is a big plus. Being allergic to wheat in all its forms, I found the original version with wheatgrass juice wreaked havoc on my digestive tract. It's common for those with Celiac disease and wheat allergies to be missing a lot of nutrients such as B-vitamins and iron, and often we feel drained of energy. The iron and B-vitamin complex in this product is a good energy boost.

I have taken iron pills for low iron problems.. Since taking this my iron levels are finally starting to go up..

I bought this product because I tested low for iron when going to donate blood. Within 2 weeks my iron was high enough to reasonably lose a pint. I have stuck with it: the flavor is great considering what it is and I've never had a problem with stomach upset. I'm also vegan and have Celiac disease so the product meets all my needs. I've recommended it to others at my Brazilian jiu jitsu dojo. My only complaint is that I'd rather have a plastic or aluminum bottle that would be shatter resistant and easier to recycle.

the cap is way too big for the dose and I was getting too much. got horribly constipated. starting over with a smaller dose using a baby medicine spoon.
