This is the Real Swing Music....,
By jmtkid@aol.com (Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Swing the Sinatra Way (Audio CD)
Swing music seems to have come full circle and Buddy Morrow is definately the best musician to bring a fitting tribute to Frank Sinatra to musical life. These songs all have a special touch and that comes from the golden trombone of Buddy Morrow. There is nobody better at swing and good dancing music than Buddy Morrow. He has played with Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey, and has had numerous hits on his own, including "Night Train". Buddy now conducts The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra which travels with the "Sinatra of the 90s" Walt Andrus. Don't miss this album if you want to enjoy truly good music.

The singer really pegs Sinatra, the only one I can think of that I can say that about. The band (don't know why they call it an orchestra -- there's no strings) really swings, especially in numbers 2 (Song is You) and 5 (Zing! went the Strings of My Heart). Zing! especially is one my songs from any CD. Being a current recording you get the benefit of high quality sound plus high quality music. Many of the arrangements are top rate.

[...].Listen to this CD and his other songs here... I just found it. You can join his fan club and be the first to hear his new songs on his fan club network. I love this Boy Singer. So much better than Sinatra. He is NOT an impersonator... This is his natural singing voice and he has his OWN style.
