I was given one of these great bath towels by a friend, and have been nothing but impressed. It is by far the best exfoliation product I have ever used. On my first use, I must say that the salux is a bit scratchy if you are not used to exfoliating. However, by the second or third use, you've become accustomed to it. The best part about this product is how absolutely smooth and soft my skin is after using it. I feel like silk! It's even managed to take care of the dull rough skin on my elbows, knees and feet. I'm not sure they'v ever been so smooth! The salux also lathers well, dries quickly and does not mildew or mold.

I ordered this and received the cheap imitation "LeiYiJie" brand cloth, which doesn't hold a candle to the authentic one. Be careful when you order this - I hate to give a low star rating to a good product, but this seller doesn't seem to consistently ship the real thing!
The other color Salux cloths available on Amazon also have other people complaining about this switch-out, but this listing didn't so I thought I might be safer in receiving the wrong thing. I was wrong! So I'm adding this review to warn potential buyers.

Also - you can't return this thing because of sanitation issues. You have to contact Amazon directly if you receive the fake, and they will take care of you. But if you don't want to deal with the hassle, do yourself a favor and buy from a more reputable seller.

I ordered the Salux Nylon Japanese Bath Towel and instead I got this cheap Leyijie, made in China knock off. As soon as I took it out of the box I was suspicious that I had been ripped off. I'm glad I only spent $5 on this piece of crap. Whoever is in charge or this scam should be ashamed of themselves. They should just send people the real thing they paid for. I still want to try the real thing but now I don't know how to get it without being ripped off again.

Another of those Asian secrets. A friend tried to get me to use this a while ago and I didn't listen. Boy, was I sorry I didn't listen after I actually tired it. This bath cloth is just incredible. It is a little scratchy the first time but it really exfoliates well and all my dry skin is virtually gone. It feels really good getting all that old flakey skin off. The Salux does lather exceptionally and rinses clean well. I recommend it to everyone.

I first discovered Salux Japanese washing clothes 13 years ago in the only Japanese Market in Salt Lake City, Utah, I've used nothing but them since that time and introduce them to countless others who have discovered an easy way to keep your skin healthy and glowing it's Salux. It's no wonder they won the award for the best Japanese Invention.

I've been using these things for years. It used to be you could only find them in Japanese grocery stores (or in Japan). I've never understood why Americans weren't aware of it and instead were struggling with lufahs and buying expensive 'exfoiliating' products like those silly round puffy things. This foams up your soap like nothing else, the soap stays caught in the cloth so you end up using less of it to the same effect, the cloth is can be bunched up or stretched to length making it very easy to clean your back. Be warned, this does SUCH a good job that if you don't combine it with a moisturizing soap and instead use regular soap, your skin will feel tight and dry at the end of the wash..... For years I've been buying these and handing them out to friends as gifts. At first they look at me funny till they actually use it the first time and then come to me raving about it.

This is the perfect washcloth, long enough to scrub your back and textured for exfoliation, I'll never use an ordinary cloth again.

Love this product!!! This is a great purchase and I love the way it makes my skins feel every time I use it. Using this product makes my skin feel so soft and clean. I have used it on my face (although very carefully).
