Dali was a great artist with an unfinished education. When younger, his production reminds one of some informal paintings, only to become very precise and realistic, later. This book is an invaluable help in understanding this great Artist , witness of Spanish History's best and worst moments, and of of the vicissitudes of his lifetime
Inspired , but calculated , dreams and nightmares follow each other and delight the viewer.

I buy a Dali calendar each year as a Christmas gift for my daughter who loves the art of Salvador Dali (she even has a tattoo of one of his paintings). Since we visited the Dali museum in Florida, the pictures of the calendar mean even more to her. Excellent quality gift for the art lover that lasts all year!
