Golden beauty
Beautiful deck well worth the price! I also bought Pollack's Dali book and Gala's Grail to study together. It is going very well. See my other reviews.

Not all you'd expect
Although Rachel Pollack has written several books on the Tarot, this book is surprisingly lacking in resources for interpreting these cards. The book contains two basic types of information: history of the Tarot (including how some of the imagery came to be used by Dali in his cards) and a card-by-card interpretation of the artwork. Although Rachel Pollack has written several books on the Tarot, this book is surprisingly lacking in resources for interpreting these cards.The book contains two basic types of information: history of the Tarot (including how some of the imagery came to be used by Dali in his cards) and a card-by-card interpretation of the artwork. The interpretation of the artwork is very brief and serves mainly to point out the more obvious imagery of the cards. It does not delve at all into the interpretation of the cards in a reading. Many sellers advertise this book as a way to own the artwork without the cards. That much is true. Each card is shown in full colour, and Pollack's descriptions do help in apreciating some of the symbolism. The book amounts to being more about art than about the Tarot.
