Salvation,
This review is from: Salvation (After Sundown, Book 2) (Paperback)
It should be a time of happiness for Professor Sabrina Reyes when her first book is published, but a homicidal stalker is uppermost in her mind these days. Sabrina has written an in-depth book about dragons, and someone has no intention of allowing her to release her findings.
The university hires Sundown Security Agency, who promptly sends Eric Drache to protect the professor. The men from Sundown are special and Eric, even more so, nobody will get near Sabrina on his watch. After a stormy breakup two years ago, Sabrina and Eric had hoped to never see each other again, but with her life in danger, allowances must be made. The fates have thrown them together again and maybe this time they will both be honest about who and what they really are before a stalker ruins any chance they have for a future. Author Eden Robins takes readers back to Sundown with another `special' man and his destined mate. Unfortunately there is too, too much mental and verbal foreplay before the ultimate orgasm between Sabrina and Eric. I enjoyed the characters and the story, but lost patience with Sabrina and Eric; it just seemed to take forever and ever for them to decide anything between them. After Sundown: Salvation has solid word play, the characters are likeable, but the slow pace pulls down an otherwise engaging paranormal story. Lisa reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

This review is from: Salvation (After Sundown, Book 2) (Paperback)
Sabrina Reyes is a smart and intelligent woman with a Ph.D. in Anthropology who teaches at Arizona State University. She wrote a book on dragons and the myths that follow them. Her book is just about to release and, with that, a book tour.
Eric Drache is an immortal Dragon Slayer, meant to spend his life searching and killings dragons. He also works for After Sundown Security as a security specialist along with the other misfits his boss calls a crew. Sabrina is stalked and attacked on campus. Her boss decides to bring in the best and hires After Sundown Security. Eric is given the job of protecting her, the woman that almost made him wish for his own happy ending before he broke her heart two years ago. Working together is going to be an experience for them both. After the attacker blows up Eric's car, he decides that they should be roomies. Sabrina throws some ground rules to protect her and her privacy. She has a secret that Eric does not know about and she is afraid that he would not understand. Little does she know Eric has his own secrets, too. I absolutely enjoyed this book! It is the second in the After Sundown series by Eden Robins. She created two characters that were perfect for each other. Sabrina had her heart broken hard with Eric leaving her all those years ago. You could feel her pain when they were together because she loves him still. Eric knows that it was his fault all those years ago and has regretted it nearly every day since. Eric believes that he is to stay in the darkness for the rest of his immortal life. After what he has done in the past, he does not think that he will get his happy ending. This was a roller coaster ride in emotions from the beginning to the very end. Reviewed at Bitten by Books Paranormal Fiction Review Site by Megan

I think the twists and turns in this book were great. I loved how the story came to be fleshed out, and how it ended. I was hooked into it and could not wait to see the secret she was hiding. What a punch!!!! The romance was great. I especially loved the way the main characters had to come to terms with their beliefs and each other, it made their bond stronger and their love more real for what they had to endure to win their way back to each other.
