I liked the first book in this series. I did not finish the second one though. I just could not get into it. Now I am rethinking that decision because I enjoyed this installment and am looking forward to future installments. This book is about Luna(h) and Bishop(H). I like these two as a couple. I also like how the story is evolving. The relationship between Rebel and Declan is also very interesting and I hope their relationship continues in future installments. Dystopian and MC books are my two favorites to read in fictional romance/erotica. Put them both together in one well written book and I am one happy person. A lot went on in this book and I am very much looking forward to see how things progress. Yes i would recommend.

Third book in the Defiance series and a welcome return to this dystopian future where storms and natural disasters have changed the landscape forever. Government as we know it struggles to function and the military are not as in control as would be expected. In this alternative future motorcycle clubs (MCs) dominate the world that's left and might is most definitely right!
Luna has spent her life in the world of MCs and knew pain even before Chaos happened. Feeling trapped her only escape had been her work as a mechanic for Defiance MC but that all changed the day Bishop decided to join their club. He may not have said with words but his actions let Luna believe that maybe just maybe he saw the real her but now he's gone and Luna can't imagine a life without him somehow in it .
Bishop killed Kellers son and the former Mafia boss has Bishop in his compound as a fighter. It's an arrangement meant to last for one year but the way things are going Bishop may not survive that long. Old rivalries put lives in danger but when Luna turns up at Kellers it's all Bishop can do to keep his hands to himself. Keller is a wily one though and has secrets that Bishop needs to discover to help his friends back at Defiance . It seems claiming Luna as his own is the only way to keep her safe then so that's what Bishop will do. It's no hardship as all he really wants is Luna in his arms willingly but the events of her past continue to haunt her and their enemies are closing in and Bishop and Luna may not survive the next chaotic event!
Bishop is a hero who in the last book Redemption really caught my interest. He's best friends with the mute soldier Mathias but will do anything to protect those he cares about . Forged from steel he's a young man with pain inside and yet he won't reveal it to anyone .

Salvation (Defiance MC #3)
By: Stephanie Tyler
5/5 stars

This book starts with a prologue of Luna’s that lets the reader know some of her background and why things that have happened at the Defiance compound have affected her in such a manner that they have. It also lets us know about how she and Bishop first met and of her non-relationship relationship with Bishop and that the only reason they haven’t become a couple, is that she has pushed him away.

Then it picks up where book 2, Redemption, ended. Bishop has gone to Keller’s compound to take Mathias’ place for a year’s worth of service and Luna, finally deciding that she can no longer deny her true feelings towards Bishop and no longer wants to live without him by her side, has driven to Keller’s compound. Only once she gets there, does she realize that Keller’s compound is like the Eagles’ Hotel California, you can check out any time you like, but you can’t ever leave. She will have to serve out the remainder of Bishop’s year-long agreement with him on Keller’s compound.

In the four months that Bishop has been at Keller’s compound, he’s learned quite a bit of information, how things are run, how to stay relatively safe and on Keller’s good side. But he’s also not let himself get seduced by all the hype and grand things that Keller offers. Keller may be a bit on the crazy side, but he’s got a mind for business and is smart, and since he’s also dangerous, all this combined makes him lethal.

Luna starts coming in to her own on Keller’s compound, she’s allowed to work as a mechanic, allowed to live with Bish, since he claimed her and has guards to protect her since she belongs to Bishop.

I really enjoyed this third foray into the dystopian world of Defiance (and Keller). Salvation picked up where Redemption left off - this time from the point of view of Luna. At first I was unsure - Bishop and Luna? My mind was put at ease almost immediately. As the story unfolds, we are made privy to things that transpired - previously unrevealed backstory to the front burner Mathias and Jessa in book two. We are also introduced to new characters who are not quite what they seem: Keller, Kammy and Declan, who we probably shouldn't like, but we do. Defiance, though not front and center throughout the book, was still a core part of every single thing that occurred. SALVATION. I loved the title. Bishop and Luna, not only each others' Salvation but in so many ways the Salvation of Defiance.

Luna and Bishop remind me of coffee and chocolate. Each is good alone, but so much better together. Loved them coming together, becoming best friends before physically loving each other - even though we see they've been lovers of the heart for awhile now. These two learned to trust each other - joining forces in different ways, supporting and protecting both themselves and Defiance.

Salvation... Bishop and Luna (so good!). A look into Keller (unexpected and enjoyable - I'd like more backstory for him and Kammy; that would be so interesting). A tease into the story of Rebel and his love (IwantIwantIwant) and a visit from my old buddy Mathias (yay!!!). What else could I ask for? Oh yeah. More Rebel. Oh wait, that's #4!!! Loved this... as I've loved all the others. What can I say? Stephanie Tyler/SE Jakes is an auto-read for me. You write it, Ms. Tyler and I will pick it up and devour it without hesitation.
