It has been a long time since I have found an album that I truely loved! Bart Ferguson is great live, if you get the chance to see him. The music is varied, my husband describes his style as a mix between the Wallflowers and Bruce Springsteen. It's fantastic!

Bart Ferguson delivers Salvation Road with style. His vocals are amazing, the words are poetic, and the rhythm and harmonies have great composition. Bart Ferguson pulls together a "unity" of blues, rock and roll, and gospel. He definitely measures up to be Portland's "Blue-eyed Soul"! Seeing the band LIVE is praisworthy, satisfying the souls of all music lovers! In accordance, the album is a deliverance from your average rock album...Salvation at last!

Its not to often that you find a CD you can listen to over and over and still find the same plesure in listening to it as the first time you put it in. Bart Ferguson's Salvation Road is a top in my books, give it a chance! Bart's hit "Tomorrow" helps you escape reality and enjoy the moment.

Salvation Road, Ferguson's first solo effort, shows what happens when you start with raw talent, throw in years of experience, a whole lot of soul, then strip away anything that's not contributing to the end product. What's left is a pure, concentrated rock and roll record that is powerful and varied. This is a truly great album from a real up-and comer!
