5.0 out of 5 stars A TOTAL MUST FOR THE ULTIMATE FAN
I just finished reading Salvation. It was the best of the entire series. I've never cried through any of them, except for this one. 3.0 out of 5 stars Better ending to the series than I expected
Several of the books in this series had a rushed feel to them, I thought the writing got better in this one.

The teens finally figure out a way to free Max from the collective consciousness and free the alien homeworld from it's grip as well. I'd expected the story to be pretty sloppy but was pleased to see it was better.

The Max/Liz and...

I just finished reading Salvation. It was the best of the entire series. I've never cried through any of them, except for this one. So many critical and tragic things happened to Max, Micheal, Isabel, Liz, Maria and Alex. The writing was much more fast paced and the plot was much bigger and more important. Our favorite characters lose almost everything and endure so much pain, but ultimately they realize what they've always known. That is, they have eachother. The bonds the six of them share prove to be stronger and more meaningful than any Intergalactic turmoil they've faced. You must read this book! I admit that once you get close to the end you grow sad because it's over, but savor the writing. This is the crowning book to the Roswell High series.

5.0 out of 5 stars The final battle (and an awesome conclusion!), July 25, 2000
Max has been completely absorbed into the consciousness and has no control over his body at all. But the others are determined not to give up. They've got two of the three Stones of Midnight, so they have that adventage. But Liz is devestated - she's just lost Adam, and the thought that she might lose Max, the love of her life, as well is almost more then she can bear. Isabel learns she may be able to return to her home planet - but she can't leave her brother behind. Or can she? Michael's torn between his love for Maria and the chance for him and his brother to return home. Alex, in spite of loving Isabel and wanting her to stay, tries to be there for her. And Maria is completely heartbroken that Michael will most likely leave her. They'll all work together to fight the final battle to free Max and the beings of his home planet from the consciousness. But can they triumph - or are the efforts too little too late? Read to find out!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great ending to a great series, January 3, 2002
By
The Salvation by Melinda Metz was truely a terrific ending to the Roswell High series. After all of the conflicts and terrors that Max, Liz, Michael, Maria, Alex, and Isabel had gone through in previous books, The Salvation needed a happy ending to calm the reader's nerves. And that's just what Metz delivered. If you've read the other Roswell high books don't even hesitate to read about their final battle in The Salvation.
The only thing I wish now was that she had written more!

This book was the best of the series. I am a huge Roswell fan. I tape the shows and have all the books. The Salvation was good because it had a lot of suspense and feelings in it. The ending was really good, it actually made me cry out of happiness. I recomend this whole series to anyone who likes romance and sci-fi! I also recomend the tv show on the wb mondays at 9!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Book Ever!, October 4, 2000
This was the ultimate perfect ending! I'm so sad that the series is done, but it couldn't have gotten any better! The situations between both max and Liz and Michael and Maria get so intense, I almost cried! It is honestly the best book i have ever read! But i don't want to give anything away! So...enjoy!

Metz has done it agian. Altough I am sorry that they're over as the last book of the series, she raps it up nicely. Infact this was the best one. As soon as I read the first couple of pages, I couldn't put it down. While the six connected friends try to destroy the consiousness, friendships, love and trust is reborn. I highly suggest you read this and the other books of the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Michael and Maria Sitch, September 21, 2003
By A Customer
OK, this book, in my opinion was the best at the end for romantic reasons. Michael and Maria both had a thing for the other, but, yes, Michael is a little dense, and once he fooled around with this evil Cameron (as you can probably tell, I hate her). Finally though, Michael and Maria admitted feelings, and it was so sweet! (I'm Michael-Maria crazy). The bad thing is that Alex and Isabel practically said (yes, they did) they only wanted to be friends, which totally sucks. Another thing: Max and Liz have always been totally corny in the books, but this time, they crossed the line. They act all lovey-dovey even after Liz's problems with Adam. If you ask me, they're too perfect a couple to be real. All in all, though, this book really came through.

5.0 out of 5 stars Melinda Metz has done it again!, July 22, 2000
By A Customer
This was a great way to end this series written by Melinda Metz. The struggle for the aliens to try and understand where they come from, while trying to maintain their ties on Earth, it all comes together amazingly. And the one thing to take from this book is that these characters have an amazing bond, the relationships that have developed over these ten books are well written. I was once again pulled in to this amazing story. Great book and I recommend it to everyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Coming Together To The End, May 17, 2004
A Kid's Review
Melinda Metz is a fantastic author. I loved her other Roswell books but this is, by far, the best one yet. I was jumping out of my seet from the first page. I love how Melinda ended the book, it was very twisty and tourney and almost made me cry. When I was done with the book I felt good to know what happens but I also felt sad to know that this was the end of Roswell. It's so depressing realizing somethings going to end.
