Though I do agree the price was a bit high for little more than a large pamphlet, the information within it is very helpful for people growing ska maria pastora. pictures would have added an imense amount to the book (in my not-so-humble opinion).

hopefully more literature on this plant will follow... for now, this is an adequate guide.

First of all, this book is massively overpriced. Although there is a lot of good information here, frankly most of it can be found for free on the Web. A lot of common sense gardening stuff, I'm afraid. Not that "SDGG" isn't without any merit. the section of rooting cuttings was especially interesting. If you are growing S. Divinorum seriously (you know what I mean) or are a serious brown-thumb with an interest in ethnogens then consider investing, if not... This would have been a 4-5 star book at $7.95, pity.

If you want to grow Salvia divinorum, I highly recommend this book.

I was having problem growing this very special plant, but with the help of this book my plants are now doing GREAT! What I really like about the Salvia Divinorum Grower's Guide is that it provides tried and true methods from real experts -- not just a bunch of Internet (advice) It's very clear that the authors not only know what they are doing, but they have a very cool and inspiring reverence for this power plant.

I just bought another copy to send to a friend as a gift (which is why I'm here writing this review.)

The book was pretty informative, but was just a little too expensive. All in all, it tells you everything you need to know about the special growing conditions of this unusual plant.

The "book" (which is actually more like a pamplet) is extremely short and uninformative. The quality of this book is terrible. It looks like it was printed on an inkjet printer and stapled together by an 8-year old. This should only cost a few bucks, if you were going to actually charge people for this.

I definitely recommend this book if you are interested in growing Salvia Divinorum. The book is written by a group of mysterious people who grow the plant. Until I read this book, my plants were all spindly and sickly. Now, they are huge and healthy, and very active. I think I paid $12.00 for the book at a conference, and it was the best money I have spent in a loooong time.

Salvia divinorum is probably the elite of legal hallucinigens or psychedelics. I love growing it and sharing it, and I couldn't do it without this book.

This is an excellent resource. Well worth getting a copy of. Not sure why it is so much on this site.
